Gems looked at the clock, Gems was bleeding from several places on his body and running extremely low on magic.

“Gems! Run! Go! Please!” Gray yelled. Gray was all tied up, more like crucified on a huge metal cross, with a timer on it. That metal cross was a time bomb, which was only a few seconds away from going off.

“Gr-Gray...” Gems mumbled as he tried getting up, four hooded figures were in front of them, attacking Gems. Gems had sustained so many injuries while protecting Gray. “I'm not...gonna leave you here...” Gems said, only to get attacked by those unknowns people again.

“Gems! Gems no! Gems!!” Gray yelled at the top of his lungs, he had tears running down his cheeks, he tried to escape but no luck, both his arms and legs were cuffed and he was forced to watch Gems get beat up.

“Gems!!! No!” Gray yelled as he saw Gems getting attacked again, Gems didn't even have enough power to fight. Gray's magic wasn't working either.

The timer was still on.

Gems's requip was gone, he was back to normal clothes. “Gray...” Gems had tears running down his cheeks, he felt like a failure. Suddenly Gems felt a strong grip around his hair follicles.

“Watch your man perish in front of your very eyes.” The hooded man spoke as he grabbed Gems was his hair, making the glasses wearing boy yelp in pain, and made him watch the timer go off.

“Gray... N-no!” Gems mumbled as he extended his hand in the hopes of reaching towards Gray and save him. “I'm so sorry...” He mumbled.

Gray was a crying mess himself, but he looked at Gems and smiled. He knew he was on his death bed now. “Thank you Gems...” Gray mouthed and Gems caught it.

“Gray! No!!! Gray!!” Gems yelled as more tears escaped, he tried getting up, but that hooded man pushed him down on the ground while making him watch Gray. Gems was crying and begging for mercy, but no one was there to help Gray.

Suddenly the timer went off, and the very second, the metal cross blasted off, creating a huge explosion.

“Gray!! Gray!! Gray No!!!” Gems yelled as he was forced to watch that, everything was destroyed, Gray's existence was erased, Gems's future was erased.

Gems cried.

Gems's eyes immediately shot open, his heartbeats were going off, and he was covered with sweat. He couldn't comprehend that he just saw a dream, a nightmare.

He was taking extremely short breathes as he felt his chest rise up and go down with every breath he took.

‘A nightmare...’ Gems thought as he looked around and found out he was in his bedroom when he saw the surroundings.

He looked to his left, his facial expressions softened when he looked at the man sleeping next to him. Gray was sleeping very peacefully. Gems felt a grip around his waist, it was Gray's arm.

“Gray...” Gems mumbled as he sighed in relief. He crawled closer and touched Gray's face. That nightmare shook him up bad. Gems wrapped his arm around Gray, thinking about protecting the older male, meanwhile Gray was just sleeping.

Gems scooted closer to Gray, closing his eyes and tried to sleep, it took him a while to fall asleep.

“Gems!!!! Run!!!” Gray yelled while crying.
