42: Gray & Gems - The Strongest Team

Normal P.O.V

“Pathetic trash... Prepare to be no more.” Brain yelled as he casted his magic. “Dark Rondo!” He said as mysterious green magic energy was starting to emit from the ground.

Gray held Gems's hand.

“Wh-What is this magic power?!” Sherry mumbled.

“The air is shuddering...” Gems mumbled as he looked at Gray, and tried crawling closer.

“This isn't good!” Eve spoke.

But suddenly Brain stopped his spell midway when his eyes fell on Wendy.

“I can't believe this... These guys are strong...” Gray mumbled while hissing in pain.

“There's no doubt about this, that's Wendy! The Maiden of the Forest!” he spoke in a deep voice and caught everyone else by surprise. Wendy hid behind the rock, she was scared. “Come!” Brain said as the green energy shot from his staff and it was huge green hand which went and grabbed Wendy.

“What do you guys think you're doing!?” Natsu said as he tried getting up.

“Stay down!” Hoteye yelled as he used his magic on the ground again and attacked everyone, who were already down. The ground wrapped around itself and everyone was sent flying as they screamed in agony.

Happy tried helping Wendy, but got caught as well and just like that, both Wendy and Happy were sucked into Brain's staff and completely disappeared.

“Happy!” Natsu, Gems and Lucy gasped. 

“Wendy!” Charles cried.

“I've no business with you any longer, begone!” Brain said as focused his magic energy again. “Dark Rondo!” a magic seal appeared and a huge amount of magic was shot outwards towards the group.

“Get down!” Lyon yelled as he jumped and pulled Sherry out of the harms way.

Gray's insticts kicked in and crawled so fast towards Gems and pulled him away from the target. Natsu saved Lucy, while the Trimens saved Laki and Erza.

“Gray-” Gems said as he hid his face in the crook of Gray's neck.

“Iron Rock Wall!” Jura arrived at the right time and casted his spell, huge pillars of rock errupted from the rock and covered up everyone, protecting them from the onslaught.

“Jura saved us!” Gray sighed as he looked at Jura and then at Gems with a smile, as he got off Gems. Gems sighed in relief.

“Thank you! We owe you a big one!” Hibiki spoke as he helped Lucy get up.

But as the dust settled down, the Oracion Seis had disappeared. They took Wendy and Happy with them. Charles had a bad feeling about that.

“They beat us big time...” Eve spoke as he got up grabbing his shoulder.

“They're too strong... We never stood a chance!” Gems mumbled as Gray helped him get up. They all had sustained injuries.

“That woman peeked into Ichiya's mind and got to know about our mission.” Jura informed and told them how they took out him and Ichiya before hand with their dirty tactics and how Ichiya healed him.

“Everyone, please partake of my painkiller perfum as well!” Ichiya spoke as he popped upon his test tube and a everyone could sense a fragrance and their pain was going away as they breathed that scent.

Gems smiled, he felt so good getting healed and now he knew how others felt when he used his healing spell on them.

Natsu was about to run off to save Happy and Wendy but Charles stopped him, mentioning that they needed a more solid plan to bust the Oracion Seis, she used the same magic as Happy, Aera magic.
