23: GrEms - The Ship Has Sailed

Gray's P.O.V

Gems was unable to get up, and I felt as if our bodies were frozen, I put my arms over Gems trying to cover his head, in order to protect him. But that attack never came.

Instead there was golden light that shined and due to that we were able to move. I felt my magic energy coming back.

“Gems... Are you okay!?” I asked getting closer to him, while Elfman checked on Mirajane.

Gems nodded as I wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

“I won't let any more of my children's blood to shed!” Makarov appeared and we realized that it was his magic at work. Gems looked at me and his expression changed and I knew he felt relieved after Gramps joined the battle again.

He informed us to leave, Erza was following his order too so we had no option. Elfman carried Mirajane while I carried Gems on my back as we ran towards the exit and escaped as fast as I could.

Gems had his arms and legs around me as he latched on my back like a koala. I held him tightly, even if it was his ass that I was holding tightly.

As we reached the land, I didn't let go of Gems and still held him. Not that he complained. He had carried me so many time while we were in the sky, now it was my time to carry him.

There was a huge magic circle in the sky, a golden one, the light it emitted destroyed every shadow creature that was there, it was the Fairy Law. It destroyed everything that the caster felt was the enemy.

I smiled as the war was really over with us winning.

Gems insisted on getting down, not because he had his energy back, but because he felt that my arms would hurt if I carried him for much longer, why he has to be so thoughtful all the time?

As the sun set, we all gathered in front of the guild hall, and gramps declared that the rebuilding would start after all the paperwork was done and we all deserved some rest.

Job requestes were still accepted from the temporary base.

Gems's P.O.V

Calmness finally returned to us a week after the war, the rune knights used to interrogate every member of the guild. It was a good thing that Gray and I were interrogated together, the past week was full of interrogation.

Each day I would use my magic to heal someone up from my team, I still haven't visited Porlyusica to get healed myself and I did have some bruises here and there as well.

Tomorrow's monday, the guild's rebuilding starts tomorrow, maybe I should give Porlyusica a visit too.

“What's my baby doing?” I felt Gray's arm around me and his chin resting on my shoulder.

“You ask this everytime when I am thinking about my parents while looking at the moon.” I replied with a giggle as I placed my hands on his.

“Yeah sure.” Gray replied trying to mock. “I'll watch with you, and like this.” he replied. Gray acted like a baby sometimes, he was a completely different person when both of us were alone.

“And after you're done, there's something I want to talk about.” Gray said grabbing my attention.

“Huh? What is it?” I asked immediately as I turned towards him. Gray was already shirtless while I was on my night clothes, we were already preparing to sleep.

Gray didn't speak anything as I looked at him, his face getting red. I could feel his boner. Seriously what was this guy thinking?

“Gray...your boner is poking me...” I said getting a red myself.
