72: Gems VS Shelia

Normal P.O.V

The battle between Shelia and Gems had just begun but it looked like Gems was already struggling against Shelia, because it was clearly visible that Shelia had superior powers.

Shelia was a Sky God Slayer.

‘I need to pull it off or else I won't be able to win...’ Gems thought as he dusted off his clothes while looking at the Fairy Tail stands and saw that everyone was cheering for him. ‘I have to win for them.’

“You're strong... But I have something up my sleeve too!” Gems said as a lavender magic circle appeared beneath him.

Gems was emitting a lot of magic energy, with lavender winds circling around him. Shelia was able to feel the power and so was every other wizard present in the arena.

“Requip: Believix!” Gems yelled at the top of his lungs as his body glowed lavender and the crowd was on their feet.

“Another requip?!” Shelia gasped.

“What!? He was able to achieve his Believix powers?!” Porlyusica mumbled while watching from the stands, she came to show when she heard that Gems was competing.

“Come on Gems!” Gray and Natsu cheered at the top of their lungs.

But suddenly, the glow was down and Gems stood there, still in his Enchantix gear. The crowd went mild when they didn't get to see another requip.

“What...?” Gems was shocked. “Why is this!? But why? I thought...” Gems mumbled while looking at himself.

“What's happening!?” Makarov asked as he panicked.

“Its looks like Gems tried to pull something out which he wasn't prepared for.” Mavis explained.

“Requip: Believix!” Gems yelled again, his body started to glow lavender and the crowd started to cheer for him again, but it suddenly faded and nothing happened.

“What's happening!?” Gems was getting nervous as his magic wasn't working. “Why now...” he mumbled. The crowd didn't like it and they started booing both Gems and Shelia. The boos were so loud that both of them had to cover their ears.

‘No... Why is this happening to me...’ Gems thought as his eyes had started to water.

“What happened to Gems!?” Natsu asked getting confused.

“Come on Gems!” Lucy yelled at the top of her lungs.

‘You can do this Gemsie... I believe in you.’ Gray thought while clenching his fists and just looking at Gems.

“We want Erza! We want Erza! We want Erza!” The crowd chanted at the top of their lungs. Gems was taken aback due to the reaction. He couldn't let this affect him or else he'd lose.

Gems saw that Shelia was sprinting towards him and was ready to attack him. ‘I gotta do something quick, I have to bounce back.’ Gems thought as he gathered himself while the crowd was booing them.

“Wind, o, wind! Tear the land and rouse the sky! Sky God Dance!” Shelia came close to Gems and launched a point blank attack at him.

“Wind Prism!” Gems tried to defend himself again, but his spell wasn't effective this time. Shelia's attack went past through it and hit Gems on the target. Gems's scream was heard as he was launched into the sky due to the attack.

“Gems!! Fight back!!!” Gems vaguely heard Lucy and Gray cheering for him.

“I'm just getting started!” Shelia spoke as she jumped in the sky and towards Gems. Gems saw that and it was an opportunity to attack her.
