7: A New Home

Normal P.O.V

Gems woke up with a sore ass, but Gray soothed him with his ice magic, this time they were on time.

“Does it hurt bad?” Gray asked out of concern when he saw Gems limping as they walked out of the hotel. “I'm so sorry Gemsie.” he added with a sad tone.

“No it doesn't hurt, but its a new feeling for me, so I'm trying to adjust, that's it.” Gems explained.

“Here, let me handle this.” Gray said as he grabbed Gems's luggage from him, carrying it for him.

“Look who's a gentleman.” Gems smiled.

“I think I did promise to take care of you, not hurt you, so...” Gray said as they walked towards the railway station, it wasn't much far away from their hotel, just a ten minutes walk.

Gray helped Gems to get on the train, while handling the luggage, oh he really was the man for Gems. The train was not much full with people so they had the choice to decide the seats they wanted even though they had the tickets.

Gray and Gems took a seat near to the window, a six seater compartment with two long seats was occupied by them and their luggage, mostly Gems's luggage.

“I'm so nervous.” Gems said while looking out grabbing Gray's attention.

“Don't worry, I just know this will be your new beginning. Trust me.” Gray said. “Also have you decided where you'll get your emblem and its color?” Gray asked.

“Yeah, I was thinking about getting a lavender colored one on the underside of my elbow on my arm.” Gems said.

“You are nervous, but here I am so excited because of you joining the guild.” Gray said.

“I have never seen someone getting this happy because of me, this is truly a new feeling for me.” Gems said. Gray wrapped his arm around Gems's shoulder and pulled him closer.

Gems blushed.

“Get ready to feel that a lot.” Gray said with huge smile.

They both were just looking out of the window as the train moved, they'd be reaching Magnolia in a few hours. As the time passed by, they were asleep. Gems had both his arms wrapped around Gray's arm, while resting his head on Gray's shoulder. Gray was asleep resting his head on Gems's head. 

They really looked like a couple who dated since childhood.

Gems eyes opened when he felt sudden shaking. “Gems... Gemsie wake up! Wake up!” Gray spoke as he tried waking up his sleeping beauty.

“Gems we've reached Magnolia.” Gray said and Gems immediately woke up.

“We are home.” Gray gave a warm smile. Gems blushed, he'll never forget that smile, the sun shining behind Gray, oh it made Gems fall for Gray even more, if he wasn't already.

“Towards new beginnings.” Gems said as he smiled back positively.

Gray gave him the side hug, since they were around people, as they both stood up and got down the train with their luggage.

“Think you can walk?” Gray asked out of concern.

“Yeah It's better now.” Gems replied, but Gray still pushed for the luggage to carried by him, like a gentleman.

“Wow!” Gems exclaimed as he looked here and there in awe. “This place is so beautiful, the houses, the people, the smell, the wind. It's so welcoming.” Gems spoke as a huge smile crept on his face.
