They all were shocked as the saw the natural phenomenon going around them, with living things dying as they were approaching closer to the tower of heaven.

“Water Dome!” Juvia used her water magic spell and their boat was covered with water all around, which they used as a camouflage to get closer. And with the help of Juvia they were able to reach the island, the tower was built on.

But they couldn't really do much, because there were guards on duty, with huge monstrous creatures like dogs.

“Wanna charge at them!?” Gray asked but Gems pulled him back as they were hiding behind a large boulder.

“No! They have Erza and Happy! We'd only put them in more danger if we're not careful!” Gems whisper yelled at Gray and stopped him. Gray gritted his teeth in anger, and stopped just because Gems told him to.

“They sure have a lot of lookouts, the odds are really stacked against us!” Gray replied while getting disappointed.

“Juvia has found an underwater passage into basement.” Juvia spoke as she suddenly rose from the water.

“Way to go!” Lucy cheered.

“Its about a ten minute swin underwater.” Juvia informed. But Gems just frowned, he didn't like staying under the wated much longer because he didn't know how to swim.

“Ten minutes is crazy!” Gray complained.

“Juvia can help with her magic.” Juvia said creating small water bubbles, but Gems and the others were hesitant on using those.

“Well I can create that too, Oxygen Bubble!” Gems said as a small bubble full of oxygen was created. But Gems still had that frown on his face.

“Way to go!” Gray cheered. “I'm sorry, but I'm gonna go with Gems's magic.” Gray said as he immediately sided with Gems. “For obvious reasons.” he added.

“Yeah me too, actually.” Lucy added and with her Laki and Natsu agreed. They just had a war with Phantom Lord, so they still had a small amount of trust issues with Juvia. Juvia just rolled her eyes.

“But its a ten minutes swim, I don't know, I can't swim.” Gems said with the same frown on his face.

“Can't you just requip and use your wings under water?” Laki asked and Gems shook his head no.

“Well then, hold my hand.” Gray said as he grabbed one of Gems's hand, making him blush. Gray had a smile on his face. He always found out ways to hold hands with Gray.

“And I'll hold the other one.” Lucy said as she grabbed the other hand of Gems. “Don't worry, we won't let you drown.” she added with smile.

Gems smiled and sighed in relief.

Gray and Lucy held Gems's hand while they were under water with their heads were inside the oxygen bubble that Gems had created for everyone except for Juvia, since that bitch was water herself and could breathe underwater as well.

They all made their exit from the waters and found themselves in an underground chamber, with weird looking walls. “So now we are underneath the tower?” Gray asked, while Natsu ingnited himself on fire to dry himself off and others soaked in that heat getting dry.

“Gems your magic sure comes in handy!” Lucy appreciated. Gems just smiled, it was still new to him that people were appreciating him.

“Intruders!”

They heard someone yell and immediately knew that they got found. They looked around themselves just to find out that they were surrounded from all the possible directions, even from the sky.
