110: Emotional Reunion

It had been a few hours since Gems had fallen asleep, Wendy had used up a lot of magic in order to help Gems, the fever had gone down a bit, but the fever was still there.

‘Gemsie!’

Gems's shot open when he felt Gray. Gems immediately touched the bite mark from Gray. His heart beats had increased. His eyes had started to water. Gems immediately got up on his bed while having his hand on the bite mark.

“Gray...” Gems mumbled with flushed cheeks, due to high fever.

“Lay down child! You need more rest!” Charles scolded Gems but the glasses wearing boy just shook his head no.

“No...” Gems mumbled as he got out of bed, wore his glasses and fixed his hair. He was holding back tears.

“Gems?! What happened!? Get to the bed?” Wendy said as she got up confused due to Gems's actions. Her and Charles exchanged confused looks as Gems went out of his bedroom. “Gems where are you going? You need rest!” Wendy shouted as she followed him.

“Gems! Stop! You're body is heating up!” Wendy said as she grabbed Gems was by wrist and stopped him.

“Wendy... Wendy... Its Gray...” Gems said as he let a tear escape and tried to get out of Wendy's grip. “He's somewhere nearby... I can feel his magic...” he added and both Wendy and Charles were surprised.

“He's nearby?” Wendy asked and Gems nodded while wiping his tear.

“I gotta go... I wanna see him...” Gems said as he tried to get free from Wendy's grip.

“Wait Gems, you gotta rest.” Wendy protested. “If he's nearby, then Natsu and Lucy must be bringing him back!”

But Gems shook his head no.

“No...” more tears escaped his escaped which he quickly wiped off. He wanted to see Gray, hug him, scold him, hold his hand and be with him. It had been a very long three months for Gems. “Charles please take me there...” Gems said while looking at Charles and pointed outside.

“But you need rest-”

“I don't care! Just take me to Gray! I beg! I beg... Please!” Gems yelled back as he fell to his knees due to weakness as he bursted into tears infront of Wendy and Charles.

Wendy and Charles sighed as Wendy helped Gems get up and wiped his tears away. Charles looked at Wendy and she nodded, it was gonna be tough for Charles to carry two people at once but she had to do it for the sake of her friends.

Gems was surprised to see that Charles could transform just like Pantherlily.

Wendy told that she could faintly smell Natsu and Lucy nearby when they took flight and they followed Wendy's nose. They were heading towards the city of Malba.

Gems's heartbeats were increasing as he could feel Gray very near to him and he was holding back tears knowing that he was going to see Gray in a few minutes. He kept his hand on Gray's bite mark and counted every second.

The expressions on Gems's face changed when he heard battle sounds and dust being all over the air near Malba, he gasped when he noticed an army of hooded people were fighting.

“Charles! There!” Gems pointed when he saw Lucy and Happy with Taurus. They all gasped when they saw that their friends were in danger.

Lucy and the others were all on their knees while holding their stomachs, infront of a pink haired girl.

“Looks like they're in trouble, we gotta help them quick!” Gems said as Charles flew downwards.

“Gems you're in no condition to fight!” Wendy scolded but Gems shook his head in a no.
