The guild was celebrating the successful return of Team Erza, that they had returned without getting severly injured and also brought in two new members in the form of Wendy and Charles.

The situation between Gray and Gems was still no good, none of them budged to talk to the other one, even though Gray wanted to talk to Gems so badly, but he felt like everything was falling apart.

‘I am really failing Gems as well...’ Gray thought as he sighed while he sat the guild bar, he couldn't help but use alcohol to soothe his pain away.

Gems frowned when he looked at Gray and Natsu at the bar just drinking like as if that was the only thing that could make them happy. Gems didn't like when Gray did alcohol.

Gray never usually even touched alcohol, this was like the third time in his life he did. For a second, Gems was about to go and stop Gray, but he was pulled away by Lucy who wanted Gems to go with her.

They both were just hurting each other.

Thankfully, Gray and Natsu didn't drink much. Gray had just a few sips and couldn't drink as he thought of Gems. He knew that tonight he'd talk to Gems.

It was a silent walk to home, Wendy was staying in Erza's room with them adding two new members to their team and their home.

Gray and Gems didn't even mumble a single word to each other. But Gray had something in mind. When Gray came to their room, Gems was already in his night clothes and was already in the bed.

Gray quickly changed his clothes and switched off the lights. Gray just sighed looking at Gems laying on the far end of the bed. Gray got under the comforter and crawled closer to Gems, wrapping his arm around Gems.

“Gemsie...” Gray mumbled before pecking Gems on the back of his head. Usually Gems would turn around and kiss Gray back, but it didn't happen this time.

Gray just sighed as he got up and switched on the lamp on the night stand.

“Will you stop ignoring me and talk to me?” Gray spoke in an angry tone, Gray lost his cool. Gems was taken was off guard by that tone of Gray, and he immediately got up on the bed. “What's up with you? Why are you acting like this!?” Gray asked.

“What's there to talk about?” Gems asked. “You look like you know the answer to everything.” he added as he looked at Gray.

“What are you so mad about!?” Gray asked getting frustrated.

“Why are you acting like you don't know what you did!?” Gems fired back in the same tone, Gray rolled his eyes making Gems scoff at that.

“You're just pushing me away!” Gems said breaking the silence. Gray was confused. “First it was that damn parade, then you didn't even care to give me the heads up about the whole Daphne situation, then you easily replace me with Lyon in your battles and as if it wasn't enough, you can't even come up to me get healed!” Gems said whatever he felt and whatever Gray wanted to hear.

“You always find a way to replace me.” Gems mumbled. “If its not Juvia, then its Lyon. If its not Lyon then its Wendy. But never me.” Gems spoke while looking away from Gray.

Gray was shocked Gems thought that way.

“Gemsie you're taking it in the wrong way-”

“Yeah, it's all always me who takes it to the wrong way.” Gems just scoffed while looking away. “And this is how love really feels.” Gems added as he wiped away a tear.
