11: A Real Team

Normal P.O.V

Everyone had gathered in the living room, waiting for Erza to arrive so they can leave for the mission. Gems and Lucy plopped on the sofa being exhausted, Laki drinking her coffee, Happy eating his fish while Natsu and Gray continued their brawling and quarreling at 9 in the morning.

“They're so childish...” Lucy sighed.

“More childish than me.” Gems added.

“I am sorry, did I keep you waiting?” Erza spoke as she finally came downstairs, looking as beautiful as ever. Lucy and Gems had wide smiles on their faces when they saw Erza in a good mood.

But those smiles faded into a jawdrop pretty quick after they saw her luggage, 25 bags were packed approximately.

Natsu and Gray stopped bickering immediately and acted like best buddies again.

“I am sorry I didn't get to talk to both of you yesterday, I was exhausted.” Erza explained. “You're Lucy and you're Gems, right?” Erza asked and they nodded.

“We actually joined on the same day, a couple of days ago.” Gems answered.

“Good that you both are coming along, could learn a few things and would be a great experience.” said Erza. “It's a pleasure having you both on my team.” she added.

Before they left for the train station, Natsu challenged Erza for a fight after the mission was completed, Erza accepted, before they all settled on the train.

They had their seats reserved on a six seater compartment. The girls sat together, and opposite to them sat the boys, with Natsu complaining about his motion sickness.

“Geez, you're pathetic.” Gray groaned. He didn't like Gems sitting in between him and Natsu, and as if it wasn't enough Happy was seated on Gems's lap. Gray would send Happy death glares every now and then.

“Come sit, next to me.” Erza ordered as Lucy and Natsu immediately switched their seats. Erza punched Natsu so hard in the torso, knocking him out unconscious.

Lucy and Gems sat their awkwardly. Gray wanted to pull Gems closer but he couldn't.

“Erza, I guess its about time you fill us in with some details.” Laki said.

“Yeah, what exactly is the mission?” Gray asked.

Right then Erza informed them about the dark guild Eisenwald and their attemps to use a Lullaby. She told she overheard a conversation about Erigor, The Reaper, while she was on a mission.

“Lullaby?” Gems immediately spoke as he looked at Gray's direction.

“That thing from before!” Gray added, knowing what exactly Gems was referring to. They told everything that happened with them on the previous day to Erza.

Erza suspected of those wizards to be drop outs, who didn't want to be a part of the dark mission of Eisanwald. While Lucy just wanted to go home and Erza blamed herself for not taking any action sooner.

“I don't believe I can take on an entire guild all by myself, hence I asked for your help.” Erza explained. “We are gonna storm the Eisanwald guild.” she added.

“If its not rude to ask Erza, what kind of magic do you use?” Lucy asked.

“Requip and sword magic, its kind of complicated to explain.” said Erza. “Also, what kind of magic do you both use?” Erza asked both Lucy and Gems.

“I am a celestial wizard, I use celestial gate keys.” Lucy explained.

“That's impressive!” Erza exclaimed. “And you Gems?”
