62: Fighting For The One You Love

Normal P.O.V

Gems and Juvia stood there in pain, under the rain. Gems was taking short breathes. He could feel Gray and his heart beats too.

“All the pain you just felt, Gray feels it too.” Meledy spoke with a wicked smile on her face.

“What!?” Gems frowned as he fought through the pain. “You're using my body to hurt Gray!? How dare you!? ” He asked as felt the same anger as before. The thought of Gray getting hurt because of him was making Gems go insane.

“Wind Drill!” Gems flew towards Meledy as wind engulfed him again. He went straight for Meledy as he tackled her again, this time making her go through an entire trunk of the tree. Meledy trembled with fear as she faced Gems.

“Impossible! How is your magic power still increasing!?” Meledy gasped as she stood up. She was wounded too. “I didn't know you were this strong. His feelings for Gray is giving him strength!” she added while wincing in pain.

“Wind Slicer!” Gems launched another attack but this time Meledy was able to dodge.

“I'll show you the power of my feelings too!” Meledy spoke in spite. “Quadruple-Spread Sensory Link!” Meledy used her magic at Gems who was flying towards her to attack her. A pink beam shot out and now connected Gems to Meledy.

Juvia could feel Meledy too.

“Point Blank Wind Blast!” Gems approached her and launched her attack in a close radar. Meledy's eyes widened as she felt that hit her. She was sent crashing due to the explosion.

Suddenly Gems's wrist, where that magic band was started to glow pink. The very next second, he felt an intense static shock. The pain was now four times due to four people being connected.

Juvia fell to her knees as she felt the pain as well.

Gems fell on the water while wincing in pain. His body had taken a lot of damage. Gems could feel the pain that Gray was feeling and that was making him sick.

“Water Nebula!” Juvia launched her attack, she met the same fate as Gems's. They all were writhing in pain. Gems had tears running down his face as he thought of Gray. “G-Gray...” Gems cried as his enchantix faded away.

“For Ultear's sake...” Meledy mumbled as she stood up. “...I'll gladly give my life.” she added. “All thanks to you, I've connected to my target. All four of us are now linked through our senses. So now if one of us dies, all of us will die... Gray will die too.” She spoke as she walked towards Gems.

Juvia sat there defeated. She was too beat to help Gems fight.

“N-no...” Gems mumbled as he had tears running down his cheeks.

“This is the dead end to Gray's life!” Meledy yelled. “Now that Gray and I connected, there's no need for me to fight you!” Meledy spoke as she summoned two blades, near her throat.

“Stop! No!” Gems yelled as he stood up.

“I do not fear death!” Meledy replied with anger.

“Gray... I'm so sorry... Wind Blast!” Gems let his intrusive thoughts take over and chanelled his magic on his own thigh. Gems winced in pain and fell in the water again. Juvia yelled in pain as well.

Meledy felt the pain as she fell too, while her blades disappeared.

“Why are you still resisting!?” Meledy yelled at Gems while trying to get up.

“Because I love him!” Gems yelled back as more tears escaped his eyes.

“Death is the only option for all of us now.” Meledy as she was ready to use her magic again. Gems was running out of magic. He didn't know if he had any magic left to use anymore spells. “I will kill Gray for Ultear's sake!” Meledy spoke with anger as another blade appeared over her.
