63: End Of An Era

Normal P.O.V

“Laki...” Gems mumbled as he opened his eyes and saw his partner. His vision was blurry.

“Gems!” Happy jumped with happiness when Gems opened his eyes. Natsu helped him get up, and made him sit besides Gray. Both Gray and Gems had passed out and had multiple injuries, but Wendy was at their rescue.

“Gems! Thank god you're safe! You managed to beat one of the Seven Kin?!” Erza asked.

“Juvia helped me, kinda. I didn't really beat Meledy, we both decided to not fight anymore.” Gems mumbled as he looked at them. The others were kinda surprised and shocked that Gems managed to hold his own ground against the enemy.

“Her and Ultear aren't our enemies anymore... But we gotta get rid of Hades.” Gray mumbled as he stood up.

“Thanks for healing my wounds, Wendy!” Gems said as he got up as well.

“The team's back together again! Let's get moving!” Natsu said with a smile. They all smiled as well. They all nodded and made a run towards the shore where the enemy ship was.

“There it is!” Lucy pointed out. “Is that the Grimore Heart guild master!?” She asked as they all noticed a man with a long white beard, standing on the deck and watching them.

“Now then I shall have some fun with you... third Generation Fairy Tail!” Hades spoke as he looked at all of them. “Come up, children of Makarov.” he added and walked inside.

“I can sense his magic power from here...” Gems mumbled.

“Ultear told me that there is something inside this ship which powers him...” Gray mumbled. “Gemsie I need you to find and destroy whatever's that powering him.” Gray told. Gray realized this was a dangerous battle and he didn't want Gems anywhere near it.

Gems looked at Gray and nodded. “Yeah! You can count on me!” Gems said.

“We'll go along with him.” Happy said immediately.

“Requip: Enchantix!” Gems immediately got into his enchantix and nodded while looking at all the three exceeds. “Y'all stay safe!” Gems said before looking at them.

“You too!” Lucy yelled as all four of them took off towards the ship's roof.

“Wook Make: Steps To Heaven!” Laki created a staircase of wood that connected the ground to the ship and they all ran upwards.

Gems, Happy, Charles and Lily managed to get inside the ship from an opening of its roof. Lily was scared of the lightning. All of them checked here and there for something that looked like a power source.

Much time passed and they still found nothing. ‘Gray... Please be safe...’ Gems thought as he heard another loud explosion coming from inside the ship, knowing it was his friends fighting Hades.

“We gotta hurry and find that source quickly!” Gems said. “As the leader of the Exceed Squad, I suggest we split up and search for it.” Gems suggested while wearing a headband of cat ears which Happy gave him.

“You aren't even a real exceed!” Charles yelled at him. But they eventually split up and searched in every corridor that was there, but there was still no luck. The explosions coming from the ship was making Gems even more worried.

They were now crawling through a passage way in the ceiling which was Gems's idea. They crawled and crawled until Gems's stopped when he spotted something which made him sick to his stomach.

They all gasped when they saw it.

Lily broke the grill and they all jumped down. It was an empty room, lit with purple glow. Gems was feeling nauseous by just looking at that. It was a huge heart, that was beating.
