"Uhm so.. are you and Daphne a thing now?"

"Oh, my god, Y/n." Pansy's voice was heard a mile away as she pulled me into a hug.
I returned it with a smile. God, I needed a hug.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I nodded in response, too exhausted to let out another word.

The next and final challenge was scheduled for tomorrow. It was already midnight— everyone was asleep.
I sighed, wrapping the cold sheets around me. Daphne's soft snores filled the air.

My eyes fluttered open for the fifth time. I sat up, a frown on my face. My eyes wandered around the room, landing on the small creak between the door as a spark of light fell in.
I suppose not everyone was asleep.

I stood up, the cold feeling of wood touching my feet as I walked out.
My gaze landed on the familiar blonde head as I slowly shut the door, grabbing his attention.

"Couldn't sleep?" He asked, reading something on a parchment. I nodded.
He looked different.
His well done hair was ruffled and messy, few strands falling in his eyes.
He wore green satin pyjamas with a very fancy 'D.M.' engraved on the pocket.

"Why're you up?" I asked.
He set down the piece of parchment on the table in front.
"You think?" I chuckled playfully, walking towards the sofa he was on.

"When it comes to you, yes, I do." He answered.
My eyes made contact with his.
Not a hint of sarcasm or hesitation.

I remained silent, sitting on the couch.
"Uhm.. so are you and Daphne a thing now?" I asked again, sheepishly.
He shook his head.
"No." He rolled his eyes, "I've told you before, I see her nothing more than a friend."
"Right." I said.

"Uhm so—" I felt the familiar feeling of his lips on mine— completely making me forget what I was about to say.
I kissed him back, a smile forming on my lips.

This kiss was different. In a good way, of course.
It felt.. I don't know.

Am I falling for Draco Malfoy?

We broke the kiss, panting for a moment before breaking out into soft laughter.
"You should get sleep now." I muttered, our faces still inches apart.
He chuckled, "I don't think I can now."
I laughed in response, getting off the sofa.

A warm smile fell on his lips as he pushed his hair back with a hand.
"Good night, Y/n." I smiled, turning around as I opened the door to my room.
"Goodnight, Draco."

I laid back on my bed, the smile never leaving my face.
My mind wandered back to the kiss we shared as I could feel my cheeks heat up.
It took about twenty minutes for me to finally fall asleep.

"Y/n," a voice rang in my ears.
I gasped, sitting up.

But I wasn't in my room, no— I was somewhere familiar.
I felt the feeling of something piercing on my throat, a cough left my mouth.
It got colder.

I looked in the distance, someone was there.
Not just one— but many people.
I was surrounded. I couldn't make out their faces but they had black coats on.

Suddenly, my head hurt. It felt as if someone had pushed daggers into it.
I felt myself tear up.

"Y/n," I heard again, the voice becoming deeper.
The headache got worse. I tried to move but I couldn't.

I wasn't paralysed, but I couldn't move either.
I cried loudly, screamed for help.

"Y/n!" I jumped up, panting.
My clothes were practically drenched of sweat as I looked up.
Pansy.

"Come on, do you want to miss cheering for you brother?" My breathing slowed down as I looked on the other side.
The sun was out, Daphne had just walked out in her clothes.
"Are you okay..?" Pansy furrowed her brows.

I nodded my head rapidly, "yeah, sorry. Bad dream." I flashed a smile at her before pacing towards the washroom.
I locked the door, turning around to face myself in the mirror.

My hair was undone, I was sweating and— there was bruise.
A bruise on the same spot where I felt my throat pain.
I touched it cautiously. It stung. I winced, pulling my hand away.

"Y/n, faster! We're gonna leave without you." Daphne shouted.
I swallowed hard, ignoring the bruise as I wore a turtleneck top to hide it.
I paired it with some jeans, did my hair and walked out.

"We can go." I said as the two got up from their seats, walking out.
I followed, trying to forget whatever happened.

Luckily, Draco was the first person I spotted.
I smiled in his direction as he returned it.

It's okay, Y/n. You're okay.
