"I don't care if I die. Not as long as I'm with you."

I met up with a soaking wet Hermione who was breathing heavily. "Hermione?" I called to her, she turned back. "I did it." She said. I raised a brow. "You killed the horcrux?" I asked. She nodded, hugging me as I hugged back, a laugh escaping my mouth. "Uhm.. Hermione." I muttered as she pulls back. "Something happened." I sigh.

"What happened?" She asked. "I gave Harry the horcrux.. and I felt a sudden pain in my chest. Like a really bad pain.." I muttered. ".. what exactly are you asking?" She asked again. "Am I still immortal?" I asked. "You are. Well, you will be for as long as your mother remains a ghost— or, partly alive." She explained. I sighed in disbelief. "She's dead." I muttered. Hermione raises her eyebrows. "What?" She whispers. "I can't explain." I said as Harry progressed us with Ron.

Ron and Hermione shared a glance. "The diadem can only be broken at the Room of requirement." Harry spoke. "The third floor to the left." I said. He nodded. "I'm going there." He said. "Harry." I stopped him as he began running. "Yes?" He asked in a rush. "Good luck." I mutter. He smiles before running again.

DRACO MALFOY POV:
Blending in perfectly with the students, I spotted Theo who was panting, leaning against the wall as Parkinson helped him heal his bloody face. My jaw clenched as I ran towards him, pulling him by the collar. "What the fuck— ..Draco?" Pansy gasped. Theo began coughing, looking up at me. "Not a word, Parkinson." I warned her before apparating with Theo.

"What the fuck, dude?!" He yelled, pushing me off as we reached an empty corridor. "Episkey." I muttered as he groaned in pain, clutching his nose. "You're fine. Let's go." I said. "Where?" He asked.

I looked back to the corridor where Pansy was— now met up with Y/n. A soft sigh left my mouth as I took her features in. Theo noticed, looking at me. "She doesn't say anything, but it's obvious she's in love with you, Malfoy." He says. My gaze falters slightly before I glare at him. "Shut it, Nott." I scowl.

Y/N RIDDLE POV:
My heart dropped as Pansy told me that Draco was here. I looked around for him before realising— Harry. He's going to be with Harry. "I'm going to find him." I sigh. "Y/n.. be careful. He doesn't look trustworthy anymore.." she mutters. I shake my head, a smile on my face. "I will always trust him, Pans." I sighed. She nodded as I ran towards where I expected Harry to be.

"Harry!" I panted, finally finding him in front of the Room of Requirement. "What are you doing here?" He asked. Not the time to speak about Draco, really. "To help you." I smiled. He nodded.

I looked around the room. It was much different than how it was three years ago. We walked around storage which was piled up.

We looked around the room, finding a small sword with the initials T.R.

"This is it, Harry." I said. He swallowed, slowly grabbing it. "Well, well." I snapped my head around at the very familiar voice.

Draco. He hadn't spotted me, his eyes lingering on Harry with a glare and a wand pointed at him. "What brings you here, Potter?" He says with a smirk. Theo notices me, nudging Draco slightly as his eyes, too, land on me. They soften, his wand falling for a moment and his smile fading.

"Draco." I sigh. I could feel Harry looking at me before pulling hin wand out to point at Draco.

His lip quivers as he turns his gaze back to Harry. "Expelliarmus." I mutter as his wand drops. He flinches, staring at me with something I couldn't read. Anger? Hate? Love?

"Avada Kedavara." Goyle, who I didn't realise was there shouts. I duck, a gasp escaping my mouth. They shoot a curse at Hermione before Ron runs after them. "That's my girlfriend, you bloody gits." He shouts. I cock a brow, looking back at her as she smiles.

"I lost it." Harry mutters, climbing the pile of storage in search of the sword. I climb behind him as Hermione follows. We look around for the sword.

Harry sighs, getting ahold of it. I didn't even have time to breathe before Ron runs out screaming. A fire errupts, startling us all. "They've set the bloody place on fire!" He shouts. My eyes widen as I try to run in. Harry grabs my wrist. "What the fuck are you doing!?" He yells. "Saving Draco." I yell back, snatching my wrist away.

Fire starts flowing from every direction as I run in, looking around for Draco. I soon spot him as he backs away, looking at the large flame. "Draco." I mutter, he snaps his head in my direction, his eyes growing angrier at the sight of me. He doesn't speak, instead, he grabs my wrist harshly, pulling me up a large pile.

He pushes me back slightly as I advance back, hitting his shoulder harshly. "Now is not the time for you to be mad at me for casting a spell on you, Draco Malfoy!" I yell. "You think that's what I'm mad about, Y/n? Do I look that bloody pathetic to you!?" He yells back. I flinch as he grabs my arm. "Why the fuck did you come!? You're going to get yourself killed— you're so fucking stupid!" He groans, pushing his hair back, Turing around to look at the fire.

"Then so be it." I huff. He looks back at me. "I don't care if I die. Not as long as I'm with you." I mutter. He swallows, not knowing what to say.

He pulls me again as we climb higher to get away from the fire. I spot Harry and the other two on broomsticks. He rushes towards me, throwing a broom my way as I catch it. Theo climbs behind Ron. "I don't know how to ride—" I stammer before Draco pulls it from me, getting on before I get on behind him.

All of us ride through the fire as I clutch onto him.

Once we make it out of the fire, we fall onto the hard ground. Theo began running away, probably to find Pansy. Harry and the other two bent down to break the horcrux.

I turn around, almost bumping into Draco. Before I could say anything, he kisses me. I melt into his touch, kissing him back as my body relaxes.

We pull away slowly as I feel his warm breath hovering over me, our noses touching. "Promise me you'll stay safe, Y/n." He says. I nod my head. "I will." I say with a smile before he kisses me again.

Finally, he pulls away, running in the same direction as Theo. I sigh, feeling unease come over me as I watch him run away. I turn around to face Harry who was glaring at me, his sword just above the diadem. "Are you done?" He asks. I roll my eyes. "Do it, Harry." I say as he plunges the sword into the diadem, breaking it in half as a dark shadow escapes.

Ron kicks it into the fire as I sigh, the pain hitting me again. I groan, falling on my knees, clutching my chest.

"Come, Nagini. I need to keep you safe."

The pain finally leaves my body as I gasp, opening my eyes. "It's the snake." I tell them. "Nagini's the next horcrux."

I liked this chapter very much lmao
