"Cassandra. Cassandra Riddle Howell."

As soon as we had apparatted, sudden screeching of cats was heard. Soon, we realised it may be an alarm. "Come on." Harry whispered as we ran into a small building. Guards began running around the village, looking for us.

We hid behind a clothed table as the death eaters began removing the cloth from the other tables nearby. Before they reached us, the cats began screeching again— driving them away. I sighed in relief.

"In here, Y/n." A man whispered, catching our attention. I reluctantly followed him as the other did behind me. I looked around the dimly lit room. A woman's portrait caught my eye.

"Y/n." Hermione said as i stepped out of my trance. "What?" I asked. "I can see you in this." She answered, looking at a what looked like a broken piece of glass. I furrowed my brows, stepping closer to touch it.

"Bloody fools, what were you thinking, coming here?" The man said as I immediately snapped my hand away. "Have you any idea how dangerous it is? Especially for you, Y/n." He spoke, glaring at us. I narrowed my eyes. How did he know my name?

"You're Aberforth, Dumbledores Brother." Harry said. "Who gave that to you? The mirror." I asked, stepping closer. "A wise old friend, Sirius. Your godfather." I swallowed, thinking back at the time when Voldemort gave me the Dark Mark. When he told me that my mother was a friend of Sirius's.

He placed down a tray of food in water as I hungrily grabbed a drink. "Your father's won." He said after a long silence. "He is not my father." I spat. "We need to get into Hogwarts. Tonight." Harry stated, trying his best to keep calm. "We've been hunting horcruxes." He added.

"The job my brother's given you two, it's a suicide mission." He sneered. "Do yourself a favour, go home. Live as long as you can." He said. "Dumbledore trusted us." I said. "Did he now? Did you also know that he knew who your father was since the first time you stepped through those doors?" Aberforth spat. I paused, unable to speak. Dumbledore knew?

"What makes you think you can trust him?" He asked again. "Did he ever mention your mother?" He grunted, staring at me. "Who was she?" I muttered. "She could've stopped this from happening." He said. "She was a muggle." I furrowed my brows. "Wrong." He said. I narrowed my eyes. "She was no muggle. Nor was she a witch." He said.

"What do you mean? That's not possible." Ron huffed out a sarcastic laugh. "No. It is. But it's an ancient myth.." Hermione said slowly. I snapped my head towards her. "And what is the ancient myth, Granger." Aberforth asked. She remained silent.
"Granger. What is the myth?" I spat, not caring how harsh I sounded. I had to know. "It's a rare occurrence. Immortality in Muggles." She answered.

"It's passed on from Merlin himself. Only one person in history is known to have gotten it. But I always thought that it was a story." She said. "Your real mother was an immortal muggle.. and you a witch who cannot die against her own will." She muttered. "Why didn't Dumbledore tell me?" I asked. "That man's strange. He's been using Potter as pig for slaughter." He answered, immediately quieting down.

"What?" Harry asked, stepping forward. "I'll get you to Hogwarts." He said, ignoring Harry. I swallowed as Aberforth explained us how to get in easily. As we began walking away, I paused in my footsteps. "What was her name? My mother's?" I asked. He remained silent before answering, "Cassandra. Cassandra Riddle Howell." He said. So she was married to Voldemort.

Cassandra is a character I've made myself. I'm gonna drop insane lore real soon 😋
