"He'd make me hurt you. He'd make me do things which I don't want to— which I have no control over."
It had been a few hours— I decided to visit Draco in the infirmary.
"Ms. Potter. Yes, I assumed your arrival." Pomfrey said, a small smile on her lips as she pointed to a Draco who was sitting up. "Thank you." I said, returning the smile before walking towards Draco.
"How are you?" I muttered. He snapped his head in my direction. I felt guilty. I could've stopped Harry— but I stood there like a coward. "Alright." He answered. "Snape told me it was you who healed me." He said after a short pause. "Uhm.. yeah." I said. "Why?" He asked. I frowned. "What do you mean why?" I asked.
"I mean why. Why did you help me? I'm a deatheater." He answered coldly, his eyes on me. I pursed my lips, furrowing my brows. "That doesn't change—" I said before he cut me off. "Yes, it does. Don't be stupid, Y/n. It changes everything." He said, his eyes piercing through me before he let out a sarcastic laugh.
"I was going to say that it doesn't change the fact that I still love you." I speak, my arms folded as I stare at him. It doesn't take him less than a second to snap his head in my direction. "You.. love me? Like really love me?" He scoffs, his gaze sharp. "Yes." I say, breaking the eye contact. "You shouldn't. You're making a mistake— loving someone like me." He says, looking away. "I'm not." I huff, sitting on the bed beside me.
He scoffs again, looking back at me. "Do you know what might happen if the Dark Lord finds out about this? If he finds out that I love you too?" My eyebrows rise slightly as he confesses his feelings for me. "What's the worst that could happen—" I sigh. "He'd make me hurt you. He'd make me do things which I don't want to— which I have no control over." He says. I remain quiet.
"And I don't want to do that." He says. "So what? You're going to ignore— avoid me again?" I scoff. "If that protects you from me, then yes. I will." He responds. "I don't need protection!" I huff. "I think you forget who's daughter you are, Y/n." He says. "I don't. That's something I can never forget, Draco. But I'm not going to let it ruin my life." I sigh. "That's not you choice to make anymore. So you will stay away from me— and the Astronomy Tower. I don't want you anywhere near it this evening. Is that clear?" He says. I furrow my brows. Why not the Tower? "Draco—" he quickly cuts me off.
"Is that clear, Y/n?" He asks again, glaring at me. I scoff silently in defeat, staring back at him. "Crystal." I mutter before leaving the Hospital Wing— knowing that the Astronomy Tower was the first place I was going to go.

DAPHNE GREENGRASS POV:
"He'd make me hurt you. He'd make me do things which I don't want to— which I have no control over." I hear Draco say to Y/n.
My eyebrows perk up in interest. The Dark Lord doesn't know, does he?I felt a smirk forming on my lips. If he doesn't already, now he will.
"I curse you. To eternity of misery."
