"It's life. The sooner it gets over, the better. Right?"

I pulled myself, walking out of the tower with my tear stained eyes. Harry turned around, his eyes furrowing as he took my expression in. "What happened?" He asked, panicked. "That was Cassandra." I muttered. His eyebrows widened, but he knew it wasn't the right time to speak about it. Instead, he pulled me in for a hug which I returned.

"Here." I sighed, trying not to cry again. He reluctantly took it from me, rubbing my shoulder supportively. "Okay. We have a battle to fight." I huffed, giving him a strong smile. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked. "I'm okay." I said. He nodded, smiling back.

I was not okay.

As we ran through the narrow halls, I looked out a large window, stopping in my tracks. "Shit." I muttered, looking out at the hundreds of spells being casted. I swallowed. The protective charms weren't going to hold them back for long.

I sighed, looking back at Harry who was long gone somewhere by now. My head turned to look at the two familiar gingers. I walked towards them, standing beside Fred. "Hey, boys." I spoke as they turned to look at me. "Hello, Dark Witch." Fred responded, making Georg snicker. I rolled my eyes, hitting his arm. "Are you okay?" George asked, now serious. I nodded. "I will be okay." I said, almost trying to convince myself.

I will not be okay.

I met up with Pansy and Theo a little while later on the bridge which connected Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. "Hey." Pansy huffed, looking at me as she pulled herself away from Theo's hug. "You okay, Y/n?" He asked, I rolled my eyes, clenching my jaw. Will everyone stop asking me that?

Before I could answer, Neville shouted, facing the other side of the bridge. We walked towards him slowly, revealing a large crowd of death eaters. "Well, fuck." Theo snickered. I snapped my head towards him. "Are you ever serious, Nott?" I sighed, my hands shaking. "It's life. The sooner it gets over, the better. Right?" He muttered. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.

"I'm going to find Harry." I told the two. "I'll come with." Pansy said, walking towards me before Theo pulled her by the wrist, giving her a kiss. I smiled softly as they hugged eachother. I only wished Draco was here for me to do that to him.

Pansy soon pulled away, giving him another peck on the cheek as we ran back into the castle. I looked at Pansy for a moment before turning back to look at Theo.

Theo may not care about his own life, but it clearly shows that he cares about Pansy's.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest, groaning in pain as I collapsed to my feet. "Y/n?" Pansy muttered, bending down to face me. I held my chest in pain, gasping heavily.

"Y/n, are you okay?" She asked. I shook my head. "No, I'm not fucking okay." I huffed, closing my eyes as the pain wept away slowly. Soon, we heard screams. Our heads turned to see spells being casted across the bridge. "Theo." Pansy gasped. She began running towards him before stopping abruptly.

I stood up s she faced me. "I'll be okay. Go." I smiled. She gave me a tight hug. "I love you, Y/n." She smiled as I hugged her back. "I love you too, Pans." I said before she began running towards where Theo was.

I turned around. I needed to find Hermione, to see why this was happening.
