"If you think being a deatheater is bad— perhaps you should imagine my position as Voldemort's daughter."
Last night was really just a blur. Draco hadn't come for breakfast again— I assume he was off doing some.. deatheater thing. I know Draco, he didn't want this. It wasn't his choice. He didn't have a choice.
I tried to distract myself, my gaze shifting to a spell a girl beside me was learning. 'Vulnera Sanentur: Heals the darkest of wounds.' Huh, I'm gonna have to remember that one.My gaze flickered to Harry who sat right behind me at the Gryffindor table. If he ever found out that his accusations were right— he'd never let me an inch close to Draco.
"Isn't that Bell? The girl who got cursed?" Theo asked, leaning in towards the table. I turned around— Harry was running after her. I narrowed my eyes, trying to hear them. Katie's gaze quickly flickered to behind us. I turned around to see Draco who was staring at Harry. He looked at me for just a moment before turning around to quickly walk away.
Harry fastened his pace, running towards him. "Harry-" I said, trying to ask him what was wrong but he'd already left the Hall. "Uhm, I'll see you two in class." I said to Theo and Pansy who nodded. "I'm going to kill Cormac." I heard Theo whisper to Pansy.
I made my way out of the Hall, looking for the two. I fastened my pace, passing the groups of students before reaching narrow, dimly lit hallways where no one was present.
I spotted Harry a couple feet away as he continued to follow Draco. I saw Draco entering a bathroom as he took off his vest, turning on the tap. I pulled Harry by his sweater— "What are you doing!?" I asked. He pursed his lips, turning back to look at Draco. "Will you please leave him alone, Harry!?" I say, practically shouting at the boy.
He looks at me for a moment before storming towards Draco.
"You hexed her, didn't you?" I heard Harry say before he pointed his wand at Draco.
The two began shooting spells at eachother— while I remained in my position. I had no idea what to do. "Sectuserpa!" I heard Harry shout before they got silent.I narrowed my eyes, cautiously walking closer to find Draco fallen on the floor. "Oh, my god." I muttered before running towards him. I got on my knees, not knowing what to do as blood began spilling out. I didn't even realise when Harry had left the bathroom.
I caressed Draco's cold, pale cheek as he cried in pain. "It's okay, I'm here, don't worry." I muttered— my heart aching at his cries. I never thought I'd hear Draco Malfoy sob.
I closed my eyes shut— thinking of a spell. Any spell to heal him. That's when it clicked me. The spell the girl was reading.
I pulled out my wand, pointing it at his wound. "Vulnera Sanetur." I muttered over and over again before all the blood surrounding us had gone back into his body. I sighed in relief, looking at his still body.
"Ms. Potter." I snapped my head to the direction of the noise. "Professor Snape— I didn't hurt him." I stammered. "I am well aware of that." He said slowly, walking towards Draco. "What surprises me is that you have managed to heal him.." he spoke again as I gulped slowly. "Take him to the Hospital Wing, will you?" He said as I nodded my head.

I took one last glance at Draco who was laying unconscious on the bed. Madam Pomfrey had been checking his body for any sign of harm. Thankfully, there was none.
I quickly made my way out of the Infirmary, storming towards the Gryffindor Common room. "Y/n? What're you doing here?" Ron asked, his hands full of candy. "I need to speak to Harry." I said. He nodded, going inside to call Harry.
My mind drifted back to Voldemort. I was never going to get over that. "Y/n." He muttered, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Are you insane!?" I yelled. "You could've killed him if I wasn't there, Harry!" I said again. "A deatheater like Malfoy woukd be better off dead, Y/n." He muttered. My hand came in contact with his cheek, slapping him harshly. "If you think being a deatheater is bad— perhaps you should imagine my position as Voldemort's daughter." I whispered harshly mad he stared down at me with an unreadable expression.
"As who's daughter?" He whispered. I swallowed, turning around to storm away.
