Our story begins on dismal, dreary planet. The camera pans across a decimated city, where a familiar brain-headed asshole can be seen trapped under the rubble. His teammate called out for him from her vantage point, clearly worried for his wellbeing.
Tini: Synaptek! Hang on! I'm coming for you!
She started to bound across the rubble, making her way over to her fallen comrade. Upon doing so, she tossed the slabs off of his unconscious form, freeing him little by little.
Tini: Please be all right.
While she worried about her friend, a strange gold hand reached out from behind to toss her away from the pile. A building crumbled as she flew through it, the throw so powerful that a massive crater formed once Tini hit the ground. We then pan over to the man who had done this, a man who should be dead after what had happened to him.

Vilgax the Conqueror stood in the center of the battlefield; face clenched in determined fury.
Vilgax: Where is he? Where is Ultimos?!

???: Right here, Vilgax!
A triumphant voice rang from above, answering the warlord's question with an air of confidence. Ultimos flew in at subsonic speeds, hoping to get the drop on Vilgax with this.
Ultimos: And rest assure you will pay dearly for your craven attack on my teammates. The Galactic Code of Conduct--
Before he could finish that sentence a shockwave shook the landscape. The camera's focus then shifted from the two men to what was going on between their hands. Ultimos' momentum-fueled punch had been effortlessly stopped by Vilgax's palm. The former was shocked by this development while his opponent took this opportunity to grab him by the arm.
Vilgax applied more and more pressure to the gray man's limb, eventually shattering the bone with how hard he was squeezing. Once he had done this, he released Ultimos, allowing him to clutch his broken arm in pain while he gave his villain monologue.
Vilgax: I had heard stories of your immense strength, but it seems as though they were greatly exaggerated.
His ruby red eyes looked upon the hero in disdain, finding him too weak to even slightly pity.
Vilgax: The Galactic Code of Conduct states that a Conquerors Challenge is between the greatest warrior of the attacking race and the greatest warrior of the planet under siege. In other words, me and you.
He pressed Ultimos to the ground with one foot, further humiliating the hero.
Ultimos: I am this planet's greatest hero. I'll perish before I let it fall into your hands.
Vilgax: That...
He applied more pressure to his foot, eliciting a pained yelp from the man beneath him. The cracking of bones could be heard from Ultimos' downed form, Vilgax not letting up as he continued to dominate his foe.
