Our story begins on an empty road in the middle of the Bellwood desert. There, a truck swerves out of control as it blazed through the trail, kicking up large clouds of dust on its way down. A little bit further up, you could see a man in a silver car just minding his own business. Unfortunately for him, he was in the same lane as the truck, a fact he wouldn't realize until it was too late. The headlights of the vehicle behind him shined off of the rear-view mirror, causing the driver to look up and notice the truck barreling down the road behind him.
This man of course, was shocked and briefly looked behind himself. His eyes bore witness to the truck nearly going off of the road before it managed to correct itself and pass him. His onyx eyes tracked the 16-wheeler's movements until finally locking onto the man behind the wheel. He looked to be in his early 20s and possessed black hair, blue eyes, and a charcoal gray button-up. Thick beads of sweat slid down his forehead, while his eyes were eerily focused on the road.
The camera zooms into the tiny white organs, bringing us into a flashback. A group of DNAliens stood above a cargo hauler, supervising the machines as one of them slid a large, silver crate into the vehicle. Once the package was secured, the cargo doors closed, and the flashback cut corners. Our next scene is that of large plates being attached to the giant arch in the center of Los Soledad, where they are all lifted up by cables to be locked into specific locations.
The camera zooms out, showing the incomplete arch along with the surrounding three weather towers. We then cut to another flashback, this one being of a Xenocite gestation chamber. The alien parasite opened its mouth to hiss at the camera, before the flashback changes yet again. A Highbreed turned around before we cut to another part of that same flashback. This one being of the driver peeking out from behind the corner.
He snuck past one of the DNAlien guards and made a break for the truck he was currently in. After climbing into the blue vehicle through its passenger side door, he hotwired the truck. The sound of its engine humming along with the smoke emerging from its twin smokestacks up top, alerted all who were present to the grand theft auto.
The man inside pushed the stick to the max and full sent it out of there. The truck bust open the garage door like it was nothing, revealing all of the tech tumors that were connected to the walls. This ended the flashback and brought us back to where we are now. The strange man continued to shakily drive down the road, his palms slicked with sweat, and his brow even more soaked. His vision started to get progressively blurrier, worsening the condition of his already shitty driving.
He finally derailed once he closed his eyes and shook his head, this one action unintentionally taking him off of the road and shooting him off of a nearby cliff. Luckily, it wasn't too deep, so he'd come out with some injuries, but he'd still be alive. Once the cargo truck landed, it bounced off the rocks and slid into a rock. This, of course tipped it over, forcing the man to open the door and exit it like it was a hatch.
The man walked out of the ditch and eventually made it back to the main road. There, a man in a pickup truck stopped and allowed him to get inside. Of course, the man did, and there, the driver introduced himself.
Driver: The name's Jeff.
Our mystery man reached for his wallet and took it out, unsure of his own identity. After looking at his driver's license, he responded to Jeff.
???: Uh...Tyler.
Jeff chuckled, amused with the fact that he had to look up his own name.
Jeff: You got to look it up?
Tyler took out a red triangle and examined it under the moonlight.
Tyler: The aliens did something to my mind, but I still have to find a way to stop them.
