The Lupus

Our story begins where it ended last, with you staring at Hope through the doorway. Her sudden appearance paired with her last statement left you confused. This sentiment was shared by your teammates, as they wondered what was taking you so long.

Jen: N/N, is everything alright? 

She said, standing up to go check what you were looking at.

Y/N: Y-Yeah, everything's fine. 

Hope: Can I come in?

Y/N: Yeah, sure. 

You limped out of the way, allowing your former enemy to enter. The sight put Jen and Gwen immediately on edge, the former instantly raising her arm and activating the Omnitrix. 

Jen/Gwen: Charmcaster!

Y/N: Wait, she's cool, she's cool!

You limp in front of her, placing yourself before her in an attempt to protect the girl. Your sudden action surprised the Tennysons, leading them to look at you slightly infuriated. 

Jen: What the hell are you doing?

Y/N: Stopping you guys from doing something stupid. 

Gwen: You're protecting Charmcaster, if anything, you're the stupid one here. 

Y/N: She's not here to fight. 

Jen: And how do you know that?

Hope: Because if I was, I would've attacked you already. 

Kevin: I'm sorry, am I missing something here? Who is this chick?

Gwen: That's Charmcaster, she's a witch we fought back when we were 10. 

Kevin tensed up, a sign that he too was about to join your team in attacking Hope. 

Jen: Why are you here?

Hope: It's my uncle, he's resurfaced and now I think he's working with someone. 

Jen: And you're telling us this because...

Hope: Because I need your help to stop him. I tried myself but he's much stronger now, I didn't even stand a chance. 

Gwen: Why should we trust you? How do we know you're not just saying this so we can let our guard down?

Y/N: Because her and I came to a ceasefire 4 years ago, and between you and me, she's done a pretty damn good job at upholding her end of the bargain. Think about it for a second, why would she come back now, 4 years later, if she weren't desperate. 

Gwen: You can't seriously be trusting her. Remember what happened last time? 

Y/N: Yeah, I did, but this time she didn't lie to me. She could've attacked us at any point during those 4 years, but she didn't. 

Gwen glared as you while Jen looked at you incredulously, the Tennyson cousins unable to process how you could trust her so much after everything she did.

Gwen: Jen, what's your verdict? 

 The brunette remained silent for a few more moments, weighing her options before ultimately coming to a decision. Jen spoke up, her voice tinted with distrust and slight anger. 

Jen: We'll hear you out. But the second you so much as think of trying anything; I'm beating your ass into the next week.  

Hope: It's nice to see you too, Jen. Let me start from the beginning. Five years ago, me and my uncle split apart. I hadn't seen him since the first time I met you. So, can you imagine my surprise when I find him, five years later, working for someone else. He was helping this vampire girl with her plan, the two of them were gathering an army of random people from off the street.
