before I could question what he meant by that he pulled me in. "Romae come in here" I heard a man's voice must be his dad. He held onto my arm I hid behind his back as we entered the front room.

Romae took some money from him and started walking out.
His dad: wait whos that you never bring people?

I could just sense the bad vibes. Romae kissed his teeth continuing to lead me out. and into his room

She huffed out picking up all her papers and leaving. She smiled at me while walking out so I smiled in return.
Romae closed the door so I sat on his bed leaving him to walk around doing God knows what.

Romae: 6 or 7

I could hear her singing in her room so I knocked on her door. She stopped but didn't respond so I just walked in. She looked at me then to the teddy in my hand.

she nodded playing with her hands.

Aaliyah : Aaliyah What's yours?
Me: im imarni. What did you need help on?
Aaliyah : Romae doesn't want to help me
Me: I will help you if you like
she shook her head at me.

I pretended to cry and she started laughing.

I took out a packet of gummy bears I brought from the shop they were originally for myself but I couldn't help it.
Me: Would you like some sweets?

I gave her the packet and stood up.

Me: I have to go now do you want your toy?
Aaliyah : yeah
Me: you have to gimme a hug first
she stood on her bed so she could reach me then wrapped her arms around my neck so I did the same around her waist. She waved at me as I walked out into Romaes room.
Romae : Why are you smiling?
Me: nothing
I wiped the smile off my face as I could sense his bad mood.
Me: What's wrong?
Romae: I hate this fucking place
