Demari: so tell me the truth? What's going on?
Me: nothing I promise. I just came to talk to Tyree about me and Jamal.
Demari: then what?
Me: that's it. I already spoke to Jamal about this so what is he saying now?
Demari: you need to talk to him.
Me: what is he saying?
My jaw dropped as Tyree came up to me taking my phone out of my hand. He looked at the screen then hung it up looking back at me.
Tyree: I don't want you talking to them when you're with me especially not the one you say you're fucking.
Me: are you serious right now?
Tyree: does it look like I'm joking?
Me: whatever Ty.
Tyree: and why did you use my toothbrush?
Me: you never had a problem with it before.
Tyree: you mean before you started kissing other people?
I rolled my eyes going back into the bed. I know he's going to be in this annoying mood all day.
Me: when's tee coming back?
Tyree: Is my company not good enough?
Me: right now, no it's not.
Tyree: how did you jump into another relationship after it took you so long to even commit to being with me?
Me: the reason I held back from you was because I knew we would be so far apart and it would be hard. And I was right because as soon as we tried it was over before it started.
Tyree: it was good until he go involved.
Me: Jamal was never involved until after we broke up.
Tyree: don't lie to me imarni.
Me: I bought the ring back to give to you.
Tyree: is that a joke?
Me: what do you expect me to do with it?
Tyree: I bought it for you.
Me: you never even gave it to me properly because you decided to have sex with somebody else first.
Tyree: it was more than that.
Me: would you want your girlfriend to still have a ring that she got from her ex?
Tyree: first of all, you're not his girlfriend. Secondly, don't call me your ex.
Me: what do you want me to call you then?
He grinned coming closer to me until I held onto his beard stopping him from coming any further.
Me: don't.
Tyree: don't tease me.
Me: you were just complaining about me using your toothbrush you can't try and kiss me now.
I screamed as he pulled my legs making me lie on my back then got in-between them.
Me: Ty.
Tyree: chill, I'm not going to do anything.
Me: this is bad enough.
His smile dropped then he went all serious on me looking into my eyes.
Tyree: do you love me?
Me: you know I do.
Tyree: then how is it so easy for you to just move on?
Me: because I saw how easy it was for you to go with somebody else as soon as we had one little arguement.
Tyree: it was just sex.
Me: while I was crying my eyes out about you, you were going around having sex with somebody else.
Tyree: everybody deals with things differently.
Me: is that really your excuse?
Tyree: what do you expect me to say? Of course I regret it you know I do.
Me: I just think we're better off as friends.

My jaw dropped as he got out of his car. Before he got any further I stood in front of him pushing him back by his chest.
Me: don't do this please.
Tyree: Don't stop me.
Me: if you dare do what you're about to do I will never speak to you again.
Tyree: You told me you're with him now and you expect me to be okay with that?
Me: we just made up. Do you really want to do this?
He finally stood still biting his jaw.
Tyree: I feel like a dickhead right now.

After calming Tyree down once again and making sure he drove off I made my way into our apartment to see everyone else especially Jamal since I completely forgot to call him yesterday and this morning I'm just hoping he's in a better mood now.
As soon as I walked into the front room where everyone was it fell into an awkward silence.
Demari: Jada can you look at this thing for me in my room please?
She grinned at him running behind him, it doesn't take a genius to figure out what their plans are but at least I can speak to Jamal in private now.
Me: hi.
I stood awkwardly as he ignored me walking into his room where I followed.
Me: are you still giving me the silent treatment?
I sighed out closing his door then I went up to him wrapping my arms around his waist digging my face into his chest, there's no way he can ignore me now I'm practically hanging off of him.
Jamal: where was you last night and this morning?
Me: I told you where I was going.
Jamal: I thought I told you I didn't want you going at that time?
Me: nothing like that happened.
I kissed his jaw line since he was biting down on it.
Me: I promise we just talked.
Jamal: why would you do that to me? My mind was going crazy all night.
Me: don't you trust me?
Jamal: where did you sleep?
Me: in his sister's bed
He slowly nodded finally hugging be back.
Me: so you can stop worrying now.
Jamal: I still don't trust him.
Me: he knows we're no longer together.
Jamal: the way he feels about you is obvious. You can't just stop those feelings so I know he has plans.
Me: it's not going to work because I have you.
Jamal: let's go out tonight.
Me: I have work baby.
Jamal: again? We can go when you finish right ?
Me: maybe.
Jamal: or we can just chill if you're not feeling it.

Stephen: are you in a better mood today?
I grinned shrugging my shoulders.
Me: I guess I'm feeling a little less tired.

I looked at the girl standing beside him squinting my eyes at her since I could hear the attitude in her voice.
Me: my name's imarni I started here yesterday.
She raised her eyebrows finally looking at me instead of Stephen.
Stephen: are you going to tell her your name or just make it awkward?
?: Nice to see you but I have work to do.
She walked off smirking. So I looked at Stephen who looked back at me just as confused as I was.
Me: what's her problem?
Stephen: her name's shontae she's not exactly the most welcoming person.
Me: have I done something wrong?
Stephen: I don't think so. Shontae and her friend who just started here are both the same. Just ignore them.
Me: I can't wait to meet her friend then.
I rolled my eyes as he laughed at my sarcastic comment. I'm starting to regret getting a job already.
