I wrapped my arm around Jamal's waist as we all walked out of the cinema since he had his arm over my shoulders.
Jamal: that was a good movie.
Demari: right, we should do this more often.
DEMARIS POV:
I looked to my side at Jada who still wasn't acknowledging my existence. I've noticed she's been quiet all night so I pulled her arm pulling her over to a wall so we could talk while the other two walked ahead.
Jada: demari I don't have ti-
Me: just let me speak.
She crossed her arms rolling her eyes so I could say my part.
Me: I'm sorry for the part I played in the drama over the past few days. I should've known better. I swear I wasn't trying to hurt you or get you into any trouble and I don't want this to affect our relationship moving forward.
Jada: how can you say that demari? I cheated on my boyfriend for you. You're acting like it was nothing.
Me: you knew from before it happened that I wasn't trying to get into a relationship and that hasn't changed.
Jada: fine.
Me: are we good now?
Jada: just don't talk to me.
I grinned as she pushed me back walking away. Atleast she's not trying to hit me or throw things at me anymore.
JAMAL'S POV:
Me: where are we even walking to?
Marni: I guess I should call for an Uber.
Me: good idea.
We found some benches outside and sat down since demari and Jada were far behind us.
Me: are you ready to go back to lectures tomorrow?
Imarni: right now I am, I've caught up on all of my work and I'm in a better mood than I've been in all week.
Me: that's good to hear.
Imarni: thanks to you.
I smiled at her as she smiled back at me bringing her face closer to mine. Our lips were 2cm apart when she pulled her head back a little so I pulled away ignoring what just happened.
Imarni: Jamal I'm sorry.
Me: it's fine. I just keep on forgetting.
I watched Jada and demari as they caught up with us.
Me: where did you two go?
Demari: we just had a talk.
Me: kool, marni has already called for an Uber.
I ignored imarnis stares. I need to get used to being just friends again. I should've known this would happen.

IMARNIS POV X 2 DAYS LATER:
I sat in my lecture staring at my phone screen. My brother posted a video of him and Tyree on holiday laughing and joking about. They weren't doing anything major but I still felt a way about it because Tyree still hasn't contacted me at all and has now blocked me on everything. I was starting to get annoyed at how childish he's acting. I gave him a chance to explain what he did when he messed up so why is he dragging this out for so long?

Me: Jada can I use your phone please?
Jada: for what?
Me: I just want to have a look at Tyrees profile.
Jada: has he still got you blocked?
I nodded taking her phone from her searching for Tyree. The last picture he posted was of him on the beach with his shirt off. I went through his comments to see a bunch of random girls commenting heart faces which is normal but what I didn't like was the fact that he's replied to one of them telling her to DM him. I tried to see who she was but she was on private so instead I liked his comment. Hopefully he'll see it and know it's me.

I sat cuddled up with demari on the sofa watching a movie. The movies almost finished but I still don't have a clue what's going on because all I can think about is what Tyrees up to. I hate when he does this to me.
Demari: did you hear what I said?
Me: sorry what?
Demari: what's up with you?
Me: nothing I'm just so deep into the movie.
Demari: I know you're lying. I paused it 2 minutes ago.
I sighed out. I haven't told demari anything about what's been happening because I didn't want to hear 'I told you so'. I know he's warned me about all of this happening already and I still went and did it.
Me: promise me you won't tell Jamal I told you.
He raised his eyebrow at me.
Demari: I promise.
Me: the night jamal took me out to eat we accidently gave each other oral.
I rolled my eyes as his jaw dropped.
Demari: how the fuck did that happen?
Me: I went to see Tyree the next day and told him that me and Jamal kissed which is the truth just not the whole truth. While I was sleeping he took my phone to message Jamal, he pretended to be me and found out there's more to what happened that I haven't told him so he left.
Demari: what do you mean he left?
Me: he left me in the hotel room alone and he's gone to Mexico with my brother.
Demari: you know exactly how Tyree is. Why would you do that?
Me: because I like Jamal's company and we were drunk.
Demari: so have you told Tyree the full truth now?
Me: no he doesn't want to speak to me.
Demari: how have you kept this to yourself?
Me: because I know you warned me about this already.
Demari: let me talk to him.
Me: what makes you think you'll make it any better?
Demari: because I'm your best friend and I know you mean well.
Me: you are also Jamal's friend and he probably hates you too.
Demari: then what are you going to do?
Me: I don't know. I'll figure something out.
