3 days later:
It was now the summer holidays so I left uni not long ago and decided to catch the train since everyone else already went home yesterday. Corey is the only person that decided to stay. I was on the phone to him as I walked into my house.
Me: are you really planning on staying at uni for the whole holiday?
Corey: yeah, why not? I can pick up some extra shifts at work and I get the house to myself.
Me: don't you wanna see your family?
He chuckled changing the subject which he does everytime I ask him about his family... I need to find out why but I need to ask at the right time.
Corey: are you planning on staying home all holiday?
I stepped into my room biting my bottom lip as I looked at the collection of things sitting on my bed.
Me: Corey I'll call you back later alright?
Corey: why what happened?
Me: nothing don't worry.
Corey: alright I'll talk to you later.
I hung up going over to my bed. The box of goodies that I got for Tyree was on my bed along with a load of my clothes and things that I left at his house over the past few years. I sat on my bed thinking about everything that happened the last time I was here. I haven't spoken to him since everything happened with Tianna a week ago and I know he's mad at me for what I did but I didn't know he was this mad... I mean he didn't even do this when he found out I got with Jamal.
Without thinking about it I made my way to his house trying to rehearse my apology but at the same time also thinking that I don't need to apologise because he said he would tell Tianna about us multiple times and he chose not to.
Tee opened the door smiling at me.
Tee: hi Marni how are you?
Me: I'm okay you?
Tee: I'm kool, come in.
I stepped in getting nervous even though Tyrees car isn't outside.
Me: is he here?
Tee: Ty? Na, he went to get us some food should be on his way back now.
Me: I need to talk to him but please don't tell him I'm here.
Tee: he's still mad at you.
Me: that's why I'm here.
Tee: have you spoken since that night?
Me: no because I didn't realise how mad he was until I went home and saw all of my things that he put on my bed including the birthday present I got him.
Tee: ye, he's pissed.
Me: still?
My heart rate increased as I could hear his car in the drive.
Tee: atleast let him give me my food first before you start arguing with him?
I rolled my eyes at her, she's actually being serious.
Me: thanks for your support Tee, I'm going to go into the kitchen.
Tee: thank you. I'll tell him to get something from the kitchen once I get my food so you two can talk without him realising.
Me: yeah thanks.
Hopefully this doesn't backfire... I stood in the kitchen for what felt like hours. My palms were getting sweaty and my mouth was getting dry, I don't know why I'm so scared to talk to him. He finally walked in where I was &his smiled dropped. He froze looking back at me for a few seconds and then he walked back out.
Me: Ty wait.
Tyree: Tee why the fuck did you tell me to get you a drink? You know I don't want her here.
Me: what?
I looked at him confused following him to the front room where Tee was eating her food, why is he acting like this?
Tee: you two need to sort this out I'm not involved.
Ty: I told you I'm done.
Tee: talk to Imarni not me.
Ty: no I'm done.
I grabbed his arm since he was now trying to leave the house.
Me: I'm sorry for what I did. Can we just talk about it properly?
Ty: let me go or leave my house.
Me: I'm not going anywhere and if you leave I'm getting in your car and you know I will so don't try me.
We stood for a few seconds giving each other death stares until I gave in softening my face up.
Me: I'm sorry for what happened.
Tyree: you're not sorry you did that shit on purpose.
Me: no I didn't. I was drunk and we were arguing and then things just got out of hand.
Tyree: you said you were having a girl's night so why did you invite him?
Me: I told Jamal to come after you told me that you guys weren't leaving. I asked you to leave so we could have a girl's night and you told me you would and then you didn't.
Tyree: so you invite the guy you left me for and then tell my girl that I cheated on her?
Me: I didn't tell her that.
Tyree: you made it obvious.
Me: so what Tyree? She deserved to know the truth.
Tyree: it was none of your business.
Me: yes it was because I'm the one that you cheated with. I played a part in that too.
Tyree: but you promised me you wouldn't do what you did.
Me: I know and I said I'm sorry.
Tyree: sorry doesn't change shit.
Me: what do you want from me Ty?
Tyree: I want you to leave and never speak to me again.
We both stood still in the hallway. Since I came he hasn't looked me in my eyes and it's starting to annoy me.
Me: I know you don't mean that. You're mad at me so you're trying to hurt me.
Tyree: don't tell me how I'm feeling.
Me: tyre-
Tyree: I mean what I said... Get out.
