After my argument with Jamal I left his house going home before he could say anything else.
As soon as I got into bed all I could hear was fire works going off. I'm guessing it's the New year now. Am I really starting the new year like this? I got up to find Tyree to try and apologise since I wasn't about to get any sleep with these fireworks anyway.
Me: where's tyree?
Romae: he went straight home.
Me: why?
Romae: why do you think?
Me: oh... I'm sorry for tonight. I know you both were only defending me and I appreciate that a whole lot.
Romae: I just don't understand why you decided to go back into the club with him.
Me: because I know they all drank a lot and I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if something happened to them so I needed to make sure they got back okay.
Romae: you really pissed Tyree off tonight.
Me: he's been ignoring my existence all week when all I've been trying to do is talk to him.
Romae: he had an argument with jay about him talking and getting close to you again. That's why he's been trying to distance himself.
Me: so why can't he just say that? I hate being ignored.
Romae: it's not that simple imarni.
Me: Jeremiah shouldn't be getting involved anyway.
Romae: what's gonna happen with you and Jamal now anyway?
Me: We just had an argument about tonight so I don't know.
Romae: I hope you're going to end it cause he doesn't deserve you.
Me: I'm thinking about it. I need to talk to him when he's fully sober.
Romae: well if you want Tyree to talk to you again you need to end it with Jamal, especially after tonight.

I woke up the next morning to a load of missed calls and a bunch of happy new year messages. Everything from last night started to come back to me and I started feeling annoyed all over again. My plan for today is to go to tyrees house and apologise for what I said to him last night but I know it's easier said than done and then I need to meet up with Vanessa. I went back into my room after brushing my teeth almost catching a heart attack.
Me: what are you doing here?
Jamal: I'm sorry.
Me: I really don't want to talk to you right now.
Jamal: I was drunk and I fucked up I'm sorry.
Me: I don't wanna hear it Jamal. You knew exactly what you were doing.
Jamal: I didn't know the reason they were fighting.
Me: but you thought it was okay to jump tyree?
Jamal: I didn't jump him.
Me: it was two against one Jamal. All you had to do was break it up or not get involved.
Jamal: I was drunk.
Me: it still happened.
Jamal: I said I'm sorry. What else am I supposed to do?
Me: please leave.
Jamal: no.
Me: just go.
Jamal: I'm not going anywhere.
Me: you did this.
Jamal: why are you defending him anyway?
Me: he was protecting me from your stupid friend that I told you not to invite while you were too busy fucking around on the dancefloor.
Jamal: how was I supposed to know?
Me: I told you I didn't want him there.
Jamal: I already invited him.
Me: well you could've uninvited him.
Jamal: how can I fix this?
Me: give me space.
Jamal: imarni I don't want to lose you over this.
Me: please just listen to me.
Jamal: fine... Call me when you're ready to talk.

I stood outside of Tyrees house since he wasn't opening the door for me. His car is out here so I know he's doing it on purpose. I mentally thanked God as I saw his sister walking up to me. She had sunglasses on with her hood up covering her whole face.
Tee: why are you standing outside?
Me: he's mad at me.
Tee: what happened this time?
Me: he had a fight with my boyfriend last night.
Tee: so are you two going to be arguing right now cause I have a hang over?
Me: I'll keep it down I promise.
I went up to tyrees room straight away leaning on the window sill as he sat up in his bed scrolling through his phone.
Me: what do you want me to do?
Tyree: get out.
I bit my bottom lip trying not to say anything I know I will regret but he's testing my patience right now.
Me: I'm done with you playing mind games with me so be real.
Tyree: why are you even here? You've already let me know where your priorities are.
Me: are you serious right now? I came here to find out why you've been ignoring me all week when I've done nothing wrong.
Tyree: do you think what you did last night was okay?
Me: do you think ignoring me for no reason is okay?
Tyree: you have a boyfriend. Why the fuck do you care about what I'm doing?
Me: Jamal has nothing to do with the way you switched up on me for no reason. I waited for you to come and pick me up on Christmas Eve after you were the one that made me agree to going out with you that night and you didn't even bother showing up.
Tyree: what's the point? You're still going to put him before me anyway just like you did last night. I'm done making an effort with you.
Me: so this whole thing you've been doing is because of Jamal?
Tyree: does it matter?
Me: yes it does because you didn't have an issue with it before.
Tyree: why are you here?
Me: I don't want to lose what we have over some bullshit.
Tyree: it's over.
Me: no it's not.
Tyree: I'm always the one begging you to give me the time of day meanwhile you're fucking me over and getting with other people right in front of my face. I would never do that shit to you.
Me: you agreed we can be friends after we broke up.
Tyree: if this is what you call friends then I don't want that. I'm done.
