IMARNIS POV:
I woke up reaching over to the other side of the bed where Tyree was supposed to be but he wasn't there so I called him but he didn't respond I was starting to get a little scared.
I got up to put my clothes back on. All of his things were gone. I got my phone off of the dresser calling him but it went straight to voicemail so I called romae.
Romae: marni?
Me: morning. Do you know where Tyree is?
Romae: ye he's gone away.
Me: where?
Romae: I don't know. He booked a flight last night.
Me: with who?
Romae: Jeremiah.
Me: where have they gone?
Romae: on holiday.
Me: is this a joke?
Romae: no, I drove them to the airport.
Me: he was just here with me last night.
Romae: I know. I thought you two had a argument because he was pissed off when he came back.
Me: we were fine.
Romae: I don't know what happened. He wasn't telling anybody what was up with him that's why Jeremiah went too just incase he did something stupid.
Me: alright. Thanks.

I got back to my apartment confused because everything was normal. Why did Tyree just leave like that?
Jamal: what's good marni, are you okay?
I pushed him out of the way going to my room still confused.
Jamal: what's going on?
Me: did Tyree come here last night?
Jamal: no. I thought he would because you said you told him everything.
Me: what?
Jamal: last night when I messaged you.
Me: I said what?
I took my phone out of my pocket to have a look.
Jamal: what?
Me: fuck.
Jamal: what's up?
Me: that was Tyree.
We both froze staring at each other. What have I done?
I texted romae asking if he knows when they're coming back.
Jamal: so you didn't tell him everything?
Me: no I told him we kissed once.
Jamal: now he knows there's more? And he still hasn't come to find me?
Me: because he booked a flight last night with my brother to go away this morning.
Jamal: to where?
Me: I have no idea.
Jamal: why would he do that?
Me: because that's what he does when he's trying not to get himself into trouble.
Jamal: isn't that a good thing?
Me: no because the last time he did this he was gone for months.
Jamal: have you spoken to your brother then?
I sighed out calling him since I didn't think of that.
Jeremiah: what's up marni?
Me: where are you?
Jeremiah: in Mexico.
Me: are you fucking serious?
Jeremiah: yeah. Tyree wanted to go away last minute so here we are.
Me: put him on the phone.
Jeremiah: one second. Let me go and find him.
I bit my lip nervously looking at Jamal.
Jeremiah: imarni, what did you do to him?
Me: put him on the phone.
Jeremiah: he doesn't want to speak to you.
Me: I don't care. Give him the phone.
Jeremiah: what did you do?
Me: nothing.
Jeremiah: I knew there was a reason why he wanted to go away like this. Tell me what happened?
Me: Jeremiah I need to talk to Tyree. Please.
Jeremiah: one second.
I started walking around my room nervous. Why is this happening to me?
Me: hello?
Jeremiah: you're on speaker.
Me: Tyree. Please let me explain before you jump to conclusions.
Tyree: na. He can have you.
Jeremiah: did you cheat?
Me: no I didn't.
Tyree: I'm done.
Me: no it's not that simple. You need to speak to me.
Tyree: Jeremiah cut it off.
Jeremiah: what's going on?
Me: Tyree I listened to you so you need to hear me out.
I sat on my bed throwing my phone on the floor as the phone cut off. I hate when he acts like this, now what am I supposed to do? I picked my phone up trying to call Jeremiah again.
Jeremiah: marni, tell me what happened.
Me: no. Let me talk to Tyree.
Jeremiah: he just left.
Me: call me when he's back.
Jeremiah: no. I'm not getting involved. You should've never got with him in the first place.
Me: tell him to turn his phone on atleast.
Jeremiah: imarni we just got to the hotel after a 10 hour flight I don't have time for this.
I kissed my teeth as he hung up on me again.
Jamal: don't stress over it.
Me: why is he acting like this? He's the one that went out and had sex with a whole other person just the other day.
Jamal: marni I said don't stress. It will all get sorted out soon. Just focus on your uni work okay?
I nodded taking a few deep breaths. I knew I should've never given into Tyree in the first place. I can't be dealing with this.

After chilling with Jamal for a few hours Tyree was now at the back of my mind and I kind of like it.
Me: we should get jobs.
Jamal: do you think we have enough time for that?
Me: I mean we can try it out part time.
Jamal: true. More money can't hurt.
Me: right.
Demari: do you guys want to go to the cinemas?
We both looked up at demari as he popped his head around my room door. I nodded in agreement.
Jamal: yeah. Let's go.
Demari: I just feel like we need to ease the tension ready for a new week tomorrow.
Me: is Jada coming?
Demari: can you ask her. I don't want her to start on me again.
I nodded jumping out of my bed going to Jadas room.
Me: are you okay?
She looked up at me forcing a smile so I stood at the doorway smiling back.
Me: we are going to the cinemas if you want to come with us?
Jada: na I'm okay thanks.
Me: Jada you can't leave me with the guys.
Jada: I'm just not feeling it.
I sighed out sitting on her bed beside her.
Me: everybody makes mistakes. You can't beat yourself up about this.
Jada: it's not that. Everybody turned against me and I just felt stupid.
Me: you made a mistake. You just have to accept it and move forward.
Jada: how, I'm living with demari. He finds this shit funny.
Me: trust me he doesn't.
Jada: why did he try it with me and now he's acting like he doesn't want me at all. How can you do that?
Me: look, demari isn't looking to get tied down. You'll stress yourself out trying to figure him out so don't bother trying. Just don't let him see that it's getting to you. Trust me, he doesn't know what he's passing up on.
