I unknowingly spent about an hour in the shower. Most of the time was spent trying to get imarni off my mind so my erection would go down. I'm trying to be serious about this celibacy thing.
Imarni was fast asleep on my bed when I went back into my room so I dried myself up, moisturised and then put some shorts on getting into the bed beside her. I love this girl to death, I just don't understand why she would want him over me.

Imarni: fuck... what time is it?
I sat up on my bed since imarni jumped up waking me up.
Me: what?
Imarni: I'm supposed to be meeting Vanessa at 4 o'clock.
We both looked at each other with the same confused expression it's like she realised what she just said to me and so did I.
Me: Vanessa?
I jumped out of my bed pulling her back by her waist since she tried to leave the room.
Me: na your secret is out now. What are you meeting her for?
Imarni: you don't need to worry.
Me: so why were you trying to run off just now?
Imarni: Ty I really need to go.
Me: then you need to answer my question.
Imarni: she's our new roommate. Jada left a couple days ago.
Me: why her?
Imarni: she needed a place to stay.
Me: why do you keep helping the people that fuck you over?
Imarni: it was a couple of years ago.
Me: I don't care imarni. She turned on you over nothing and now you're okay to live with her?
Imarni: she's changed since then.
Me: whatever. Do what you want.
Imarni: tyree why are you mad at me for this. It's not that bad.
Me: you're gonna be living with 2 people that don't give a shit about you.
Imarni: what exactly does that mean?
Me: you're boy couldn't even put you first last night all because I was involved. That isn't somebody who's down for you.
Imarni: he didn't know what happened.
Me: and he didn't care to find out either. You need to finish it with him before something worse happens.
Imarni: I can make the decision on my own. I don't need you to tell me anything.
I kissed my teeth as she walked out of my room.
IMARNIS POV:
The meeting with Vanessa went well. She apologised 1000 times for what she did to me back in school so I think her being our roommate is a good idea. I just don't know if Jamal and Demari are going to be as enthusiastic about it as me considering they both already said no to this.

I went into the kitchen to get some of the chicken wings that my mum cooked. Tyree was sat at the table talking on his phone so I watched him as my chicken warmed in the microwave. He looked uncomfortable because I know he's talking to another female. I stood at the door blocking his way as he tried to leave.
Me: who's that?
He brushed me off continuing his conversation.
Tyree: I told you I got you, we can go out soon.
...
Tyree: yeah don't worry. I'll make sure it's worth the wait.
He held onto my arm as I tried to grab his phone from his ear.
Tyree: I gotta go I'll text you alright?
...
Tyree: na. I just need to sort some things out quickly. I'll call you back okay?
...
Tyree: na I'm not going to be at home.
Me: tyree don't play with me.
Tyree: don't worry. It's just my boys little sister...
I stepped back screwing him, I'm actually hurt right now. I walked out going up to my room slamming the door. What the fuck? Why would he do that? I thought we just made up this morning?
TYREES POV:
I raised my eyebrows watching imarni as she stormed out of the kitchen. What was that about?
Tianna: are you listening to me?
Me: sorry what did you say?
Tianna: I said you better stop making excuses cause I want to see you.
Me: I know. I told you I'll let you know when I'm ready for that. Right now I'm just tryna chill.
Tianna: you said you wanted us to try.
Me: T I really need to go right now.
Tianna: fine.
Me: don't be mad at me. I'll call you back later on.
Tianna: I'm not. Talk to you later.
Me: good. Bye.
Tianna was a girl that I met a few months ago. When I say met I mean I saw her and liked what I saw and decided to make a move. I can't lie, my initial intentions were to smash and move on but she switched it up. To this day I still haven't had sex with her but I'm somehow still interested which doesn't normally happen. I don't know what I want right now so I'm not trying to get with her just yet and I don't want imarni to know about her.
The microwave went off bursting me out of my thoughts so I took the plate out bringing it up to imarnis room.
Me: you forgot your chicken.
Imarni: who was that?
Me: who?
Imarni: Tyree don't act stupid with me. Who was that on the phone?
Me: nobody.
Imarni: really?
I put the plate on her dresser pulling her up off her bed into a hug.
Me: how was your meeting with Vanessa today?
Imarni: why are you changing the subject?
Me: I don't want to talk about my phone conversation.
Imarni: well I do.
Me: it's not your decision to make.
Imarni: are you speaking to someone?
Me: no
I don't normally lie to imarni but right now... I feel like I need to.
Imarni: I don't believe you.
Me: you're the one in a relationship so don't come at me like that.
Imarni: tell me who you were just on the phone to?
Me: nobody.
Imarni: you're full of shit.
I started biting my jaw as she pushed me away. Why is she getting jealous right now?
Me: the last time I checked you were pushing me away to get with him and now that he's fucked up you wanna be mad at me because you think I'm talking to someone.
Imarni: whatever.
Me: don't whatever me because I'm tired of your bullshit. I've let you do your thing with him so don't think that because he's messed up I'm sitting here waiting for you to want me again.
Imarni: then why are you still here?
Me: good question.
