I could feel the tension in our section as Cameron and a few of his friends walked over greeting Jada.
Cameron: what's good imarni?
Me: how are you?
Cameron: I'm alright.
Me: you look like you're ready to start trouble.
I raised my eyebrows as he grinned at me shaking his head.
Cameron: why would I do that?
Me: you know why.
I looked at his friends that had their eyes on demari who was not paying any attention to it.
Me: don't do it.
Cameron: I don't know what you're talking about.
Me: atleast try to talk it out first.
Cameron: have a good night imarni.
I rolled my eyes as he walked away with his friends.
Jamal: what's up with you baby?
Me: nothing.
Jamal: take this.
I took the shot from him drinking it down straight away. Hopefully nothing goes wrong tonight.

Just as I thought would happen, Cameron and his boys came back over to our section to start a fight. Jada was conveniently out of sight and Jamal pushed me back out of the way just before he jumped in to defend demari with Marcus and a few other friends.
We are now stood outside of the club after being kicked out.
Jamal: where the fuck is Jada?
Me: baby calm down.
They all stood out of breath as we waited for our Ubers. I pulled demari into a hug since I could see he was still raging.
Me: don't worry about it.
I squeezed his tense body as he squeezed me back.
Demari: he got me off guard.
Me: he's just bitter.
Demari: I'm gonna have to get him back.
Me: D no you can't do that.
Demari: they rushed me.
Me: you barely have a scratch on you demari there's no point in starting it all again.
Demari: Jada set me up.
Me: you don't know that.
I stepped back as he pulled away from our hug.
Demari: how else did they know I was there. And where the fuck is she now?
Me: I'll talk to her. Just don't do anything stupid.
Me, jamal and demari got into our Uber back home. I can see Jamal is still pissed off by the way he's shaking his leg.
Me: baby.
He ignored me so I put my hand on his thigh squeezing it a few times until he stopped shaking.

We were back at the apartment now and nobody was talking. Jada still isn't here so demari and Jamal went into their rooms. I changed my clothes then went into Jamal's room.
Me: baby?
He lay on his back in just his boxers staring up at the ceiling. I went and sat on his lap.
Me: talk to me please.
Jamal: why would she do that?
Me: you don't know if Jada had anything to do with it.
Jamal: stop lying to yourself you know it was her.
Me: I didn't come in here to talk about what happened.
Jamal: I'm pissed off imarni.
Me: it's over.
Jamal: it's not over.
Me: you're not thinking about fighting them again are you?
Jamal: we were caught off guard.
Me: baby. Please just forget about it.
I leaned down to him kissing his neck a few times.
Jamal: I can't.
Me: yes you can.
Jamal: baby-
Me: please, for me.
Jamal: I need to get them back.
I sighed out getting off of his lap, I can't lie I'm getting a little annoyed right now.
Me: it's not even your fight.
Jamal: that's my boy. I'm not letting him do this alone.
Me: whatever Jamal.
I left him going back into my room locking the door.

Tyree: hello?
Me: hi.
Tyree: what's up beautiful?
Me: nothing...
I could hear him sigh out on the other side of the phone.
Tyree: what happened?
Me: nothing.
Tyree: talk to me.
Me: it's nothing. I just want to see how you're doing.
Tyree: have you seen the time baby girl? I know when something's up so tell me.
Me: it's nothing I promise.
It fell into silence again as I zoned out completely.
Tyree: imarni?
Me: yeah.
Tyree: what's on your mind?
Me: why would you flirt with the waitress instead of just asking me if I was messing with Jamal.
Tyree: at the time I just wanted to see your reaction to know if you cared. I know it was a stupid move.
Me: I actually thought I was going crazy.
Tyree: I'm sorry.
Me: it's okay.
Tyree: what made you forgive me?
Me: definitely not the flowers.
Tyree: your boy loved those though right?
Me: I know you did that on purpose to get to him.
Tyree: na I did that for you.
Me: when have you ever done that in your life?
Tyree: you changed me a lot Marni.
Me: as long as you're happy.
Tyree: have you been screaming?
Me: why?
Tyree: your voice.
Me: oh. We went out.
Tyree: it was that good Huh?
Me: no, the guys got into a fight with Jada's boyfriend and his friends.
Tyree: so that's why you're upset?
Me: partly.
Tyree: what's the other reason?
Me: I don't want to talk about it.
Tyree: has he done something to you? Because you know I will come down there right now.
Me: no Ty. Nobody's done anything to me.
Tyree: just checking.
Me: I just can't wait to come back home.
Tyree: we miss you too. Open your laptop.
I opened it to see a facetime request from him.
Me: who said I want to see you?
Tyree: you have no choice so pick up.
I hung up the phone answering the facetime.
Me: Tyree... where are you?
He grinned trying to hide the background.
Me: get out of my room.
Tyree: I told you this is where I sleep when I stay here.
Me: you better not make any mess.
Tyree: you never noticed before so I can't be that bad right?
