I'm now back at uni and the one person I want to speak to is not here.
Me: where's jamal?
Demari: he went out not too long ago.
Me: but I messaged him and told him I'm on my way back.
Demari: Marni you know he's pissed off with you.
Me: he has no reason to be.
Demari: if I was him I would be pissed off too.
Jada: imarni you're not doing anything wrong in the picture. I've been arguing with these two about it all morning.
Me: exactly we were just talking.
Demari: you had his clothes on.
Me: his shirt was around my shoulder don't be so dramatic.
Jada: you can't just act like she's never going to speak to Tyree again because that's childish.
Me: is that why Jamal's left?
Demari: yes it is and Jada you can't talk like you didn't just cheat on your boyfriend.
Jada: whatever demari.
Me: this is bullshit. Just tell me where he is?
Demari: I don't know. Probably gone to Rhiannon's to do some work.
Me: why the fuck would he do that when he knows we need to talk.
Demari: I don't know where he is.
Me: call him.
Demari: why don't you?
Me: because he's busying my calls.
Demari: maybe you shouldn't of busied his call last night then.
I rolled my eyes as he took his phone out calling Jamal.
Demari: where you at?
Jamal: I'm outside I'll be back in a second.
Demari: kool.

Me: Jamal.
He finally looked up at me screwing. He came back about 10 minutes ago and since then has only acknowledged demari but I've had enough.
Jamal: oh so you remember who I am now?
Me: why are you being childish?
Jamal: when you start taking me serious is when I'll do the same.
Me: fine. Let's talk.
I lead the way to his bedroom sitting on his bed.
Me: if this is about the picture you need to grow up because you can clearly see nothing was going on.
Jamal: it's more than that. Why did you air my call and not call or text me back.
Me: I was going to sleep.
Jamal: did he stay with you?
Me: nothing happened.
Jamal: answer my question.
Me: he was drunk and I couldn't get him out.
Jamal: what the fuck?
Me: nothing even happened.
Jamal: I don't care imarni. How would you feel if I have my ex sleeping in my bed, drunk or not it doesn't fucking matter.
Me: you need to calm down. There was no way for me to get him out.
Jamal: I know you have spare beds in your house.
Me: everyone stayed at the house Jamal. I didn't have a choice there was no room.
Jamal: so that's the real reason you didn't call me back? Because you didn't want me to know that you let him sleep in your bed with you.
Me: I just don't want you to think it's more than what it is.
Jamal: imarni tell me what you want. I'm done feeling like I have to fight to be with you. Do you want us to be together or not?
Me: yes I do.
Jamal: then you need to change the relationship you have with him.
Me: it's not that simple baby.
Jamal: it needs to be.
I sighed out finally walking up to him since he calmed down.
Me: well it isn't.
Jamal: does he even know we're together?
Me: no.
Jamal: why not?
Me: because he would do all he can to split us up. Baby he's only just started acknowledging the fact that me and him aren't together anymore I can't do that to him.
Jamal: so you're protecting his feelings over mine once again?
Me: no Jamal I'm avoiding unnecessary fights and arguements.
Jamal: I want him to know.
Me: he will in time.
Jamal: I don't trust you.
Me: I promise I'm not making you look stupid.
I tiptoed up to kiss him as he met me half way. I know how it may seem from his point of view but I know it's the best thing to do right now.
Jamal: I hate when you leave to go home.
Me: you can trust me.
Jamal: I do but there's always a thought in the back of my mind.

Jamal and demari left to go and play basketball with their friends so me and Jada are now leaving to meet up with Romeo and Cameron. The only person that doesn't know this is happening is Cameron and hopefully he reacts well to seeing Jada.
Jada: thanks for doing this.
Me: you owe me one.
Jada: I'll make it up to you don't worry.

Romeo: so how long before they start kissing?
Me: I'll give it 10 minutes.
We both started laughing watching Jada and Cameron at the other table.
Romeo: how have you been anyway?
Me: good. Just got back from home this morning.
Romeo: oh so you spent the weekend with your ex and came back to your new boy.
I rolled my eyes as he bursted out laughing.
Me: that's not what happened.
Romeo: I'm just playing with you.
Me: don't say that because Jamal actually thinks that's what's going on.
Romeo: he thinks there's something going on between us too so I don't feel sorry for him.
Me: why would he think that?
Romeo: he was ready to fight me the other day at work.
Me: I don't know why he does that. He doesn't know that we know each other.
Romeo: so imagine if he knew.
Me: I don't even want to think about it.
Romeo: look at them two.
I gave a small cheer watching Jada and Cameron kissing over in the corner.
Me: so what's happening with your love life then?
Romeo: would you believe me if I told you I'm still a Virgin?
Me: are you?
My jaw dropped as he started smirking at me.
Romeo: no I'm just messing with you.
Me: I knew there's no way you'll last that long.
Romeo: I'm not trying to get into a relationship right now though.
Me: so you're going through your hoe phase?
Romeo: I guess you could say that.
