I came back to my mum's house a few hours ago. I haven't yet told Tyree because I know he's going to tell me to go to his house but I don't feel like that's the right thing to do right now since it's almost 11pm and I know I'll end up staying over which Jamal wouldn't be too happy about.
I got out of the shower and was getting ready to go to bed while watching insecure until someone rudely walked in without knocking.
Tyree: oh shit.
I screamed grabbing my towel since I was butt naked.
Me: close your eyes.
He ignored me bursting out laughing.
Tyree: I've seen it all before Marni calm down.
Me: i said close your eyes.
He finally did as I said so I put a t-shirt on getting into my bed.
Tyree: can I open them back now?
Me: yes and you can leave too.
Tyree: why, what did I do?
Me: first of all you didn't even knock.
Tyree: I didn't know you were in here.
Me: then why was you coming in here?
Tyree: because this is where I sleep when I stay here, you already know this.
Me: why don't you sleep at your own house?
Tyree: what's up with you?
Me: you just walked in on me naked Ty.
Tyree: so what? It's nothing I haven't seen before.
Me: that's not the point.
Tyree: you don't need to hide yourself from me baby girl.
I rolled my eyes directing my attention to the TV until he took his joggers off coming into my bed.
Tyree: so why didn't you tell me you were coming back?
Me: I did.
Tyree: no, you said maybe. You could've told me you got back.
Me: my bad, I was going to tell you in the morning.
Tyree: if you don't like my company let me know and I'll leave you alone.
Me: it's not that.
Tyree: what then?
Me: I don't want to make it hard for you to move on.
Tyree: imarni. I told you we're friends I know that. I'm not trying to get into another relationship so you have nothing to worry about.
Me: fine.
Tyree: what about you?
Me: what about me?
Tyree: what's going on with you?
Me: you already know.
Tyree: kool. Just checking.
There's no way on earth I'm telling Tyree I'm still with Jamal because I know how he'll react and I don't have the time or energy for it.

Me and tyree ordered some food so I went down to get the food since the delivery guy was at the door and tyree was too lazy to go down. As soon I got back to my room I gave him his food, he sat biting his jaw as if I did something wrong.
Me: you're welcome.
He ignored me eating his food.
Me: what's wrong with you?
He ignored me again so I left him and ate my food.
As soon as we were finished i lay back on my headboard rubbing my food baby.
Me: that was so good.
I picked up my phone since Tyree was still giving me the silent treatment for no reason. I had a DM from Romeo giving me his number and telling me to call him so I saved it scrolling through my timeline until Tyree stormed out of my room. What is his problem?
I kissed my teeth reluctantly following behind him. I managed to stand in front of him before he went into Jeremiah's room.
Me: Tyree what's wrong with you?
Tyree: since when did you start speaking to Romeo again?
I stood staring at him blankly until he kissed his teeth trying to pull me out of the way.
Me: no wait. Let me explain.
Tyree: explain it then?
Me: we bumped into each other the other day. It's not what you think.
Tyree: that's exactly what you said the last time you started talking to him until you kissed him.
Me: trust me. We both know it's nothing like that.
Tyree: so why didn't you tell me?
Me: because I didn't think I needed to. We're not together anymore.
Tyree: whatever imarni.
Me: maybe you should stop reading my messages.
I instantly regretted saying it as soon as I did because I could see the anger building up in his eyes. I tried to walk back into my room but he held onto my arm not letting it go. Before he started on me I gave in apologising because I know if we have an argument here in the hallway everyone in the house is going to get involved then tyree is going to start smashing things.
Me: I'm sorry.
Tyree: stop playing with me imarni.
Me: you don't need to worry about him I promise.
Tyree: just because I'm okay with us being just friends doesn't mean I'm okay with you talking to somebody else.
Me: I'm not.
Tyree: promise?
I slowly nodded thinking about Jamal in the back of my mind. He wasn't too happy about me coming back home today either.
Me: you can't be getting mad at me for everything Ty.
Tyree: then don't hurt me.

Tyree was still in my brother's room so I decided to call Romeo to see what he wanted.
Romeo: hello?
Me: hi it's imarni. Are you okay?
Romeo: oh what's up Marni I'm good.
Me: nothing. I'm just watching the TV.
Romeo: kool. I didn't mean to get at you the other day.
Me: it's fine. I understand you were defending your friend.
Romeo: yeah but I didn't need to come at you like that so I'm sorry.
Me: apology accepted.
Romeo: and I think we should do it.
Me: really?
Romeo: yeah. We should try it out.
Me: why have you changed your mind?
Romeo: he keeps talking about her and I'm starting to get sick of it now.
Me: okay good.
Romeo: when are you next available?
Me: I'm at home right now. I'll be back in a couple of days I'll let you know then.
Romeo: kool. This better work out.
Me: thanks Romeo I owe you one.
