COREY'S POV:
Imarni: Corey wake up.
Me: what's up?
I woke up as she climbed onto me grinding on my waist... Wait didn't we have separate sheets?
Me: what are you doing?
Imarni: I want you.
Me: but you have two guys fighting over you?
Imarni: that doesn't matter.
Before I could say anything back she kissed me grinding on my waist again making my body get hot all over. I groaned out as she used her hand to pull my manhood out of my boxers stroking it softly.
Me: fuck... You really wanna do this?
Imarni: of course, I've been wanting to do this since the first time I saw you in the club...
I sat up on my bed looking next to me at Imarni who was still fast asleep... Wait. Did I just have a wet dream about Imarni? Fuck. I was still wrapped in the duvet so I got up going to sleep in her bed instead. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Imarni: so you tell me to sleep in your bed and then you leave and go sleep in mine?
I opened my eyes looking at her standing in her door way with her arms crossed.
Me: yeah you snore too loud.
Imarni: you're so full of shit you know I don't snore.

There's no way I'm telling her the real reason... No way. she came and sat on the end of her bed watching me but there's I wasn't about to get up because of my morning wood... Imarni: what should we do today?
Me: well I'm going to go to the gym this morning if you wanna come?
Imarni: I need to but I don't think I want to.
Me: you don't need to you look good. But we can do a quick workout together?
Imarni: you and your muscles look like you'll kill me. No thank you.
Me: I won't I promise.
Imarni: I'll think about it.
Me: I'm leaving in half an hour so think quick.
Imarni: but you're still in bed.
Me: yeah I'm waiting for you to leave.
Imarni: this is my room.
Me: Marni. If you see what I'm packing you'll fall in love with me.
Imarni: what?
Me: I'm on hard right now... I have a boner so I'm trying to hide it until you leave but clearly you're not trying to give me any peace right now.
I bursted out laughing as her face dropped.
Imarni: Ew. You better not try anything in my bed.
Me: it's kool, it will go down by itself.
Imarni: what is wrong with you guys?

Imarni: I'm going to leave.

After a few more words of persuasion I managed to get Imarni to come to the gym with me. We jogged there so our cardio was out of the way now I was just getting her to do some leg and booty excercises.
Imarni: I think this is too much.
Me: Marni you've barely done anything.
Imarni: I told you to go soft on me. This is my first time.
Me: this is a beginner session. Maybe you should come with me more often.
She gave me the side eye making me wink at her.
Me: finish 2 more sets on the squat rack then we're done. I'm just going to go over to the other side and finish up my workout alright?

IMARNI'S POV:
I rolled my eyes as I finished my second to last set of squats... I hate this but I can't lie it is a little therapeutic.
?: Do you need some help?
Me: with what?
?: Your squats.
Me: why, am I doing it wrong?
?: Na I just figured you might need someone to spot you since you're alone.
Me: what does that mean.
?: I can show you.
I raised my eyebrows looking at him confused but he looks so confident.
Me: okay fine... what's your name?
?: Kadeem, you?
Me: Imarni.
He nodded smiling as I got back onto the squat machine I spun around confused again as he stood right behind me.
Me: how is this helping me?
Kadeem: don't you trust me?
Me: I don't know you and I have a boyfriend.
Kadeem: I'll make sure you keep the right form and I'll be right behind you just incase you need support.
I slowly nodded turning back around and started my squats. I can't lie, he was kindve helping me out and also motivating me by telling me to keep going but it still felt wierd especially since I don't actually know him.
Corey: what's going on here Marni?
Kadeem: is this your boyfriend?
Me: no this is my friend. Corey this is kadeem, kadeem, Corey.
Corey: I know who he is.
Me: oh right...
Kadeem: I ain't seen you in a while, what's good? you come to this gym now?
Corey: I'm good& yeah i do I just moved over here, you two know each other?
Me: na we just met.
He looked at me raising his eyebrow.
Me: anyways can we go now I finished my sets and I'm starving?
Corey: yeah I'm done too. Kad I'll see you another time.
Kadeem: alright kool. I'll let Daryll know that you come here now.
Corey: na it's kool you don't need to.
He slowly nodded then turned his attention back to me.
Kadeem: it was nice meeting you Imarni, I'll see you around.
I waved at him following Corey as he walked out of the gym.
Me: that was awkward.
Corey: he's my brother's friend.
Me: I thought you were okay with your brother's?
Corey: I've spoken to them once and that was only because they came to my old apartment uninvited, we talked a little but that's it.
Me: Corey, I don't understand why you don't want to talk to them. I get that they lied to you but if this is how you react to it then I can see why they kept it from you.
Corey: it's not that simple. They could've told me at any point. Now all I can think about is where my real family are and why the fuck was I put up for adoption? Why wasn't I good enough to keep?
