DEMARIS POV:
Me: it was nothing.
Jamal: what?
Me: I know you know what I'm talking about.
Jamal: I don't give a fuck.
Me: if everything you've said to her is true then clearly you do.
Jamal: I said I don't care. You two do what you want between each other.
Me: we didn't do anything.
Jamal: but you was going to before I walked in.
Me: are you not hearing what I'm saying? We both know it was an accident.
Jamal: why the fuck was it about to happen in the first place?
Me: she was upset
Jamal: and you?
Me: I don't know. It meant nothing. This no sex shit has my mind going crazy.
Jamal: you're both full of shit.
Me: I didn't have to come in here and explain shit to you, you're not even her boy.
Jamal: so why the fuck did you?
Me: because you claim you have feelings for her.
Jamal: so you think telling me about it is going to make me forget what I saw?
Me: we didn't do shit
Jamal: I saw different with my own eyes.
I fell back on to the wall as he pushed me so I regained my balance pushing him back onto his bed.
Jada: both of you stop.
Jada grabbed my waist from behind pulling me out of the room.
Jada: what the fuck is going on between you two?
Me: nothing.
I brushed her off going into my room where she followed me.
Jada: demari?
Me: I'm not in the mood.
Jada: when you're ready to speak let me know.
She walked out making me feel even worse because now I feel like I've taken it out on her.

After I calmed down I walked into Jada's room, she was on the phone to someone.
Me: can I talk to you please?
She nodded ending her phonecall so I went and sat beside her on her bed.
Me: I'm sorry for being rude to you earlier.
Jada: it's fine. I understand you was in a bad mood.
Me: I know but you was helping me so thank you.
Jada: someone's gotta hold the fort down.
I chuckled standing up.
Me: I'll see you in the morning.
Jada: wait.
I spun around just as she leaned up to me bringing her face to mine.
Me: what are you do-
She shut me up with her lips and I wasn't complaining. I mean I didn't want her to stop but why is she doing this?
I pulled back after a few seconds looking at her.
Me: I know why you're doing this
Jada: what?
Me: because of our bet. You want me to crack.
She stepped back laughing to herself.
Jada: right, we're both tired. Let's forget this ever happened.

IMARNIS POV:
I woke up thinking about my argument with Tyree. He's never openly flirted with anybody infront of me so I don't understand why he decided to do it yesterday when we was supposed to be together. After cleaning myself up in the bathroom I went into the kitchen where Jada was.
Me: morning.
Jada: hi
Me: is everything okay with the party, you look worried?
Jada: I need to talk to someone
I looked at her confused.
Me: I'm here. What's up?
Jada: we kissed last night.
Me: who?
Jada: me and demari.
Me: you have a boyfriend
Jada: yes I know. I messed up and demari thinks it happened because I'm trying to make him lose the bet.
Me: why did it happen?
Jada: I don't know. I swear I love my boyfriend.
Me: do you like demari?
Jada: I felt like I did last night. But I know he doesn't feel the same way. It was the first time I saw him so vulnerable after his fight with Jamal.
Me: they had a fight?
Jada: yeah. I separated them then demari got mad at me so I left him alone. He came back in my room and apologised and I couldn't help it because I think I like him. Why is this happening?
She sighed out putting her head in her hands but I was still stuck on the fact that Jamal and demari were fighting.
Me: maybe you should think about your boyfriend. It's his birthday party today. You might feel different about it when you see him.
Jada: I'm supposed to be having a breakfast date with him right now but instead I'm avoiding him because I'm scared.
Me: don't let one kiss ruin your whole relationship. You look happy with him Jada, go and call him and wish him a happy birthday.
There's no way I was letting her end her relationship for demari when I know he doesn't want more than sex.
Jada: I'm gonna go and get ready.
I nodded as she left then made my way to Jamal's room making sure to knock his door.
Jamal: yeah?
I stepped in since I got the all clear.
Me: sorry did I wake you?
Jamal: na I'm just chilling
Me: oh okay... Is everything okay with you?
Jamal: yeah why?
Me: is everything okay with you and demari?
He chuckled sitting up in his bed.
Jamal: we're good.
Me: have I done something to you?
Jamal: marni I don't wanna do this right now.
Me: I know you saw us last night.
Jamal: it's none of my business.
Me: why was you two fighting then?
Jamal: marni I don't care. Please leave my room.
Me: no.
I stood at the wall with my arms crossed, I don't know what I'm trying to get out of this but I can't deal with anymore tension in this house.
He kissed his teeth standing up holding a pillow infront of his crotch area.
Jamal: you need to leave my room.
Me: no Jamal. Let's talk about this first.
Jamal: marni whoever you choose to kiss or fuck has nothing to do with me.
Me: then why were you two fighting?
Jamal: you want me to say I feel for you don't you?
Me: I just want to know what happened.
Jamal: I need to get ready.
Me: I'm not leaving.
Jamal: cool
He dropped the pillow revealing his morning wood peeking through his boxer shorts. I closed my eyes still not leaving the room.
Me: I don't need to see you for us to talk this out.
I couldn't hear him but I still didn't open my eyes then I felt him infront of me.
Jamal: what would your boy say if he saw us right now?
Me: he wouldn't say anything because I have my eyes closed.
He burst out laughing holding onto my waist.
Jamal: you like to play with fire don't you?
Me: have you put some clothes on yet?
Jamal: do you wanna come to the party with me tonight?
Me: who says I'm coming?
Jamal: I know you're coming
Me: I'm going with Jada.
Jamal: na you're coming with me. You need to speak to your boy first.
Me: why?
Jamal: because I don't need him coming at me again.
Me: we're just friends he knows that.
Jamal: you can open your eyes now.
As soon as I opened my eyes his door flung open.
Tyree: what the fuck is going on in here?
