IMARNI'S POV:
I instantly froze up as I felt Tyrees lips on mine because I didn't know what else to do, I'm with Jamal now and I don't want to mess it up.
Me: Ty I can't...
He looked away again biting his jaw so I let him go, going over to the window.
Me: I thought we were done?
He let my question hang for about 5 minutes and then he went and sat on the end his bed with his head in his hands.
Tyree: I still love you.
Me: I can't.
Tyree: why him? I'm the one that's always been there with you, you know I would do anything for you and I wouldn't hurt you.
Me: it's not that.
Tyree: what is it then?
Me: Tyree I just can't.
Tyree: you've moved out so now would be the perfect time to give us a try.
Me: where is this even coming from? You were just in a relationship.
Tyree: throughout the whole relationship I was always thinking about you... I'm not done with you.
I jumped in fright as my phone went off in my pocket, of course it's Jamal.
Me: I need to go.
Tyree: no you said you wanted to talk so let's talk.
Me: not about this.
Tyree: you wanted to know why I'm mad at you. You wanted to know the truth Imarni so don't run away now that you're getting it.
Me: we had our chance more than once and it didn't work out I'm not doing this again with you. I need to go.
My breath caught in my throat as he stood up pulling me into his arms as I started crying all over again. Why is he telling me all of this now? I thought I was happy.
Me: I can't keep doing this with you Ty. We both said we would stay friends so why are you doing this now?
Tyree: because since Tianna broke up with me all I can think about is you not her.
Me: I'm with Jamal.
Tyree: you don't have to be.
I shook my head pushing him away from me leaving the room.
Me: I need to go.

I managed to get an Uber back to my house but I stood on the door step trying to wipe my tears so it wasn't obvious that I was crying because I know my brother and Romae are here. As soon as I was satisfied I went into the house going straight to my room to see another suprise.
Jamal: hello baby.
I smiled at him as his smile dropped.
Jamal: what happened?
Me: nothing I'm fine.
Jamal: you've been crying? And I'm guessing it has something to do with these things on your bed.
He held up a t-shirt with a picture of me and Tyree on it. I remember the day we ordered them, we both had one, I left mine at his house so I guess he still has his own.
Me: it's been a long evening.
Jamal: should I be worried?
Me: no. Everything's fine.
He slowly nodded putting the t-shirt back down.
Me: I'm going to shower.
I took up a few things including my phone going into the bathroom. After I had a long shower I sat on the side of the bath calling Tee since it's been a couple hours since I left their house.
Tee: you feeling better now?
Me: not really, how's Ty?
Tee: he hasn't come down yet, not even for his food so I'm not sure but I'll go and talk to him soon.
Me: okay, let me know how it goes.

Jamal: are you feeling better?
I nodded smiling at him.
Jamal: then can I get a hug and a kiss?
I walked over to him hugging him then climbing onto him kissing him.
Me: I need to clean these things up.
Jamal: Are you ready to tell me what happened now?
Me: nothing. He's just mad at me for telling Tianna and I tried to make it right but it didn't work out.
I finally cleared everything off my bed so Jamal pulled me down onto it with him.
Jamal: he's mad at you for what he did?
Me: it's more than that.
Jamal: so you're defending him?
Me: no baby I just don't want to argue. I'm done with constant arguements.
Jamal: Marni you can't blame yourself just because he's mad. If he cheated that's on him not you.
Me: it's more than that.
Jamal: what more?
Me: he tried to kiss me and then he said he wants us back together.
I looked at him as his face hardened up and he started biting his jaw.
Jamal: what the fuck?
Me: he knows we're still together.
Jamal: so why the fuck is he saying that?
I sighed out as he sat up starting to slightly raise his voice.
Me: it doesn't matter because it means nothing right now.
Jamal: right now? So you have plans?
Me: that's not what I said.
Jamal: so why did you go and see him? If he wants to be mad then let him that's not on you.
Me: so you're mad at me because I was trying to make things right with my friend.
Jamal: he's not your fucking friend Imarni.
Me: Jamal don't swear at me.
Jamal: you were crying when you came home so that means something.
Me: it just means that we had an argument and I got upset that's it.
We both looked up at the door as romae walked in.
Romae: Marni you good?
Jamal: she's good.
Romae: I didn't ask you... Marni?
Me: yeah I'm fine thank you.
Romae: kool I'm downstairs if you need me.
Jamal: what the fuck?
Romae left the room leaving me with an even more angry Jamal.
Jamal: what is going on?
Me: I just need to think.
Jamal: I want you to stop talking to Tyree completely... And I mean it this time.
