IMARNIS POV:
Me, Demari, Jamal, Jada and her boyfriend Cameron were all sat in our living room discussing the bet that we made since today is the last day of the no sex month for Jamal and demari.
Jamal: so imarni. Since I successfully passed this challenge without slipping up. You have to do what we agreed which is whatever I want you to do.
Me: which is what?
Jamal: let me take you out tonight.
I looked at him across the room smirking at me.
Demari: you guys need to chill with that.
Jamal: a bets a bet.
Demari: imarni?
Me: what?
Jamal: why are you getting involved? Just because you lost the bet last night.
Demari: I didn't lose shit.
Jamal: so it wasn't you and some random we heard going hard last night?
He bursted out laughing.
Demari: that wasn't a random.
Jamal: who was it then?
Demari: don't worry.
Me: all you had to do was wait one more night.
Demari: it was worth it anyway.
I watched Jada as she stood up going into the kitchen. For some reason she's been quiet all day I'm suprised she wasn't jumping for joy at the fact that she won her bet with demari.
Jamal: marni, you need to be ready by 7.
Me: alright boss.
I got up following Jada to the kitchen.
Me: what's up with you?
She ignored me wiping the counter that was already clean.
Me: Jada?
Jada: I can't talk about it right now.
Me: just tell me?
She pulled me into my room so nobody could hear us.
Jada: it was me.
Me: what was?
Jada: that you heard with demari last night.
My jaw dropped as soon as the words left her mouth.
Me: your boyfriend is out there.
Jada: I know that.
I stood in shock again as she started crying infront of me. How can she do that?
Me: how did that even happen?
Jada: because Tyrees sister was here and he was trying to make me jealous with her. I don't know how I was so stupid, he invited me into his room and I followed.
Me: you have a boyfriend.
Jada: I know!
Me: are you going to tell him?
Jada: yes but I just need to find the right time.
Me: I'm going to kill demari.
I was about to leave the room until she stopped me.
Jada: wait, I don't want Cameron to know just yet.
Me: then he needs to leave.

I sat in the front room next to Jamal trying to calm myself down. Since Jada told me what she did with demari last night I've been getting more angrier and angrier because for the past few days he's been getting at me for talking to Jamal when the whole time he's been plotting to do this, he has no right to judge me. Now Jadas crying to me as if I'm supposed to make it all better. Jamal held onto my thigh squeezing it since I couldn't stop shaking my leg. He pulled me closer to him whispering in my ear.
Jamal: what's up?
Me: nothing.
Jamal: did something happen in there just now?
I shook my head making him squeeze my thigh harder.
Jamal: don't lie to me.
I was trying my hardest not to say anything because Jadas boyfriend is still in the room.
Jamal: do you wanna go into your room?
I nodded so he pulled me up from the sofa leading the way to my room.
Jamal: what's up?
For some reason I bursted into tears and I don't know why. I lied, I do know why I just don't know why it's affecting me this much. Jamal pulled me into his chest kissing my head.
Jamal: you need to tell me what's up?
Me: Jada was the one demari was with last night.
Jamal: so why is that hurting you?
Me: because he's been constantly on my case and causing arguements with me over me getting closer to you.
Jamal: marni. You can't let it get to you like this.
Me: I know, but he's really pissed me off because he's being a hypocrite.
Jamal: he's just looking out for you.
Me: no. It's not the same.
Jamal: just don't cry about it. If you need me to I'll sort it out.
Me: no, it's fine. I don't want any trouble.
Jamal: we clearly all need to sit down and talk about it though right?
I nodded into his chest.
Me: Jada doesn't want her boyfriend to know just yet.
Jamal: that's funny because we were just talking about this last night.
Me: she was crying her eyes out just now.
Jamal: she fucked up. I have no sympathy for her.
Me: she made a mistake.
Jamal: and now her boys going to be hurting because of what she did.
Me: you're taking this to heart aren't you?
Jamal: I told you about my past relationships I don't like cheaters.
I stepped back going to get my phone since it was ringing off on my bed. It was Tyree, I instantly remembered the message he sent me last night about the ring that I still haven't responded to.
Me: I'm gonna get this.
I answered the phone watching Jamal as he left not saying a word.
Me: hello.
Tyree: what's up baby girl?
Me: nothing, what's up with you?
Tyree: have you been crying?
Me: no why?
Tyree: you're sniffing.
Me: I have a cold.
Tyree: oh. I just wanted to make sure.
Me: I'm good don't worry.
Tyree: did you get my text last night?
Me: about what?
Tyree: you know exactly what I'm talking about.
I laughed uneasy. I really don't want to talk about this right now.
Tyree: the reason I didn't want to say anything about the ring that day when you asked me about it was because I knew I needed to tell you the truth. Now that I have I wanna talk about it.
Me: I think now's not the right time.
Tyree: why not?
Me: because we're starting from fresh. I think the ring shouldn't be brought up for now.
Tyree: imarni.
Me: I'm serious Tyree. I found it hard to trust you in the first place and now you've made it worse.
Tyree: so what do you want me to do about it?
I froze as I heard Jada screaming in the front room.
Me: I need to go.
Tyree: no. We need to talk.
Me: Tyree I'll call you back.
Tyree: I said no.
Me: I'm sorry.
Tyree: imarni do-
I hung up the phone running into the front room to see Jadas boyfriend being held back by Jamal while demari stood on the other side giving him death stares.
Jada: imarni, you told him!?
