DEMARIS POV:
After imarni left I went into Jamal's room where he sat with his head in his hands looking deep in thought.
Me: what the fuck happened?
Jamal: why did you let him in?
Me: I didn't even know he was here until I heard him shouting at marni. Jada must've let him in when she left.
Jamal: he put his fucking hands on me.
Me: you told him I kissed her.
Jamal: I didn't say your name.
Me: why would you mention it in the first place?
Jamal: because why was he coming at me when you're the one kissing her?
Me: I didn't fucking kiss her.
Jamal: I'm done with this bullshit.
I kissed my teeth walking back out. I knew marni shouldn't of got with Tyree, now everything's messed up and everyone's involved. I sat on the sofa as Jamal came out of his room behind me.
Jamal: where is she?
Me: she's packed some of her stuff and left.
Jamal: fuck.
Me: I told her to call me later.
Jamal: and what if she doesn't?
Me: she will.
Jamal: I need to talk to her.
Me: na you need to fall back.
Jamal: are you serious? I haven't done anything to her.
Me: can't you see you're the reason for all of this? You need to fall the fuck back.
IMARNIS POV:
I managed to get myself a hotel room not far from the house but I couldn't check in for a few hours so I was sitting in the lobby waiting until my phone started to ring.
Me: hello
Tee: marni are you okay?
Me: yeah I'm fine.
Tee: what happened?
Me: what has he told you?
Tee: you know he hasn't told me anything. He's literally screwing everything and everyone and not saying anything.
Me: we broke up.
Tee: how? You only just got together.
Me: I was supposed to spend the weekend with him but he messed up.
Tee: you know he's sorry for what happened at the restaurant.
Me: all he had to do was say that and mean it. He kept saying I was over reacting for nothing. When he knew how I felt about the situation.
Tee: marni, the whole reason he came today was to apologise about everything that happened. Did he not do that?
Me: no. He saw something and flipped out.
Tee: saw what?
Me: I was in my roommates room. I know Tyree hates him because he thinks he has feelings for me but he's my roommate and I can't ignore him.
Tee: Ty was really shaken up when he came out of the house.
Me: you were there?
Tee: yeah. He didn't want me to come in and I just wanted to calm him down.
Me: he left something in my room.
Tee: I know
Me: what is it?
Tee: a promise ring. It was his idea because he wanted to prove to you that he was sorry and wanted to make it right.
I stayed silent as a tear rolled down my face.
Me: I swear I wasn't doing anything in that room.
Tee: he'll come around eventually. You know he can't stay mad at you for too long.

After I finally was able to get into my hotel room, I did some of my uni work for a couple of hours then I called demari.
Demari: what's good beautiful, how are you feeling?
Me: I'm just trying to ignore everything that happened this morning. I managed to get some work done so I guess that's a good thing.
Demari: I suppose so. Are you coming back tonight?
Me: Na. I think it's best if I stay away from Jamal and think about things first.
Demari: have you spoken to Tyree?
Me: I spoke to his sister. He's still pissed off so there's no point me even trying to talk to him right now.
Demari: as long as you're okay.
Me: yeah. I'm sorry you got involved. Jamal told him I was kissing someone last night.
He kissed his teeth mumbling to himself.
Demari: well at least he doesn't believe it.
Me: he knows something happened.
Demari: he wouldn't throw you away just like that though.
Me: well we're not together anymore so obviously he would.
Demari: seriously? How, I mean I know what happened but I didn't know it went that far.
Me: he knows Jamal wouldn't just say that for no reason.
Demari: I'm going to talk to him and explain what happened.
Me: no D, he's not going to react the way you want him to trust me that would do more bad than good. This whole thing started because of what he was doing at the restaurant so he needs to calm down and let us talk about it properly. I'm done getting other people involved.
Demari: you need to come home marni.
Me: I don't want to see Jamal
Demari: he's going to be at the party anyway.
Me: aren't you going too?
Demari: I don't think so.
Me: why not
Demari: you know why, I know you and Jada talk.
I laughed, how did he know?
Me: you know she likes you.
Demari: I'm not trying to be the reason her relationship ends so I'm going to fall back.
Me: that doesn't mean you can't have a good time.
Demari: the bet we made means I can't have a good time so I'm just gonna chill tonight.
Me: me too.

After I came off the phone to demari I sat staring at it trying to somehow make a call or at least a text come through from Tyree but it wasn't happening. We're both just as stubborn as each other, I just want to see where his head is at but I'm not about to contact him first.
TYREE'S POV:
Tee: who's that at the door?
Me: don't worry.
Tee: if it is who I think it is you need to stop because you will regret it.
Me: you need to mind your own business.
Tee: you just broke up with imarni this morning what is your problem?
Me: she ended it with me so I'm done.
I walked passed her grinning as I opened the door.
Me: you okay?
She nodded following me up to my room where I pulled her onto my bed.
