Me and Tyree were finally ready to go to my mum's. I had on my shorts that I slept in and one of his t-shirts because I only had a vest since I came here wrapped in my duvet.
Tyree: I want you to come on holiday with me for my birthday.
Me: just us?
Tyree: yeah.
Me: as friends?
I bit my lip as he chuckled then looked at me squinting his eyes.
Tyree: na.
Me: no Ty.
Tyree: what's happening with you and jamal?
Me: we don't talk anymore.
Tyree: is that mutual?
Me: as of yesterday, yes.
Tyree: why not?
Me: it's a long story.
Tyree: I got time.
Me: no we don't because we need to go and talk to my brother and I need to go back to uni.
Tyree: we need to sort this out so I know what to tell Jeremiah.
Me: you need to tell him that we're friends again.
Tyree: if I'm going to talk to him I'm not going to lie. He knows I want you as more than a friend and there's no way I'm gonna just settle for a friendship.
Me: Tyree no. You can't change it up now.
Tyree: baby you're not understanding me. He knows I'll be bullshitting if I tell him we're just friends. That's how the fights start.
Me: forget it. Just take me back to uni then.
TYREES POV:
I pulled Imarni back into my house since she tried to leave going to my car.
Me: no I said we're going to sort this out first. I want to know what happened with you and Jamal?
Imarni: what happened with you and Tianna?
Me: nothing. I haven't seen her since your mum's party. I've spoken to her but nothing major.
Imarni: she hasn't came here?
Me: she's never been here. She always goes to your mum's house because she knows that's where I normally am.
Imarni: are you planning to do anything with her?
Me: if I was, I would've done it already and you know that.
Imarni: so why don't you tell her that?
Me: I don't know Imarni. I like her company when I get lonely.
Imarni: have you ever had sex with her?
Me: no.
Imarni: kiss?
I paused biting my lip. We have kissed quite a few times.
Imarni: what does that mean?
Me: yeah we have.
Imarni: maybe you should give her a try because your clearly leading her on for a reason.
I sighed out as Imarni walked off into the kitchen where I followed her holding onto her waist as she leaned on the counter top.
Me: are you jealous right now?
Imarni: nope.
Me: it looks like you are to me.
Imarni: so what if I am?
Me: come on holiday with me then?
Imarni: Tyree your birthday is in two weeks. You can't drop this on me now.
Me: I would've told you before but you didn't wanna come and see me.
Imarni: you could've texted me.
Me: no because it's more than that. I want us to go together... Not as friends so we need to talk about this properly.
I pulled my body closer to hers as she was deep in thought.
Imarni: Ty you can't just do that.
Me: you didn't answer my question about Jamal.
Imarni: he fucked somebody he told me not to worry about when we were together purposely so I could catch them.
Me: so you're mad at him?
Imarni: no I'm over it. I just don't want anything to do with him.
Me: are you going to move out?
Imarni: no. I'm just trying to focus on my uni work. Since I started it's been endless drama. That's why I don't know about us getting back together.
Me: the drama only started when you got Jamal involved. If it wasn't for him we would be together.
Imarni: before me and Jamal did anything you started to get jealous. I have made a load of new guy friends since we broke up and I don't want to have to keep proving to you that they're just friends.
Me: but Jamal wasn't just a friend because you got together in the end.
Imarni: Ty you know what I mean. I just don't want us to have to go through it again.
Me: but every time you come down here you want us to act like we're together?
Imarni: no we don't.
Me: Imarni we slept in the same bed and gave each other head. We spent the whole day yesterday spooning each other don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. You call me telling me you love me and you expect me to not want to get with you?
Imarni: you're the one that came and got me. You're saying it like I'm the one leading you on when you're doing this to yourself.
Me: kool.
I got off of her walking out to the door so we could go to her mum's.
Imarni: no wait.
I spun around screwing her since she pulled on my arm.
Imarni: where are you going?
Me: to give you what you want right? You want me to tell jay that we're just friends.
Imarni: Ty don't be mad at me.
Me: it's too late for that. I'm already mad.
Imarni: you know what I'm saying is right.
I kissed my teeth as she pulled me into the front room to sit down. She sat on my lap facing me.
Me: no Imarni. You just don't understand me.
Imarni: I do. I feel like you just need sex.
I started laughing shaking my head.
Me: are you crazy?
Imarni: you need to release to get rid of this tension you have so you can stop jumping to conclusions and trying to rush into things.
Me: we're not going to have sex Imarni.
I turned to the side as she tried to kiss me. Maybe she's right, I am sexually frustrated but I'm still pissed off that she's making excuses not to get with me.
