Jamal and demari went out to play basketball for a couple of hours & Vanessa was at her boyfriends so I decided to take a nap. I was only 20 minutes in when Tyree facetimed me.
Me: hi.
Tyree: hey baby girl were you asleep?
Me: yeah what's up?
Tyree: just calling to say thank you.
Me: for what?
Tyree: I know this was you.
I smiled sitting up in my bed since he was sat grinning to himself eating some of the snacks I ordered for him.
Me: how did you know?
Tyree: because you're the only person that I know would do something like this. I really appreciate it.
Me: you're welcome... I have something to tell you.
His smiled dropped instantly.
Tyree: what?
Me: I invited your girlfriend to a girl's night.
Tyree: why would you do that?
Me: I don't know.
Tyree: Marni... Why?
Me: I was just trying to be nice because she's so nice to me and I feel guilty.
Tyree: so is this your way of telling me you're going to tell her the truth?
Me: I want you to tell her. It's not my place to do that.
Tyree: I know and I told you I will when I'm ready.
Me: that's not good enough.
Tyree: I'm going to come and pick you up now.
Me: no Ty.
Tyree: why not? I just want to talk we can take a drive.
Me: we can talk like this.
Tyree: you know I hate talking to you like this about us, I want to see you.
Me: this isn't about us. It's about you and Tianna.
Tyree: are you at your uni apartment?
Me: I don't want to see you Ty. Can't you see I'm trying to move on?
He stopped whatever he was about to say and started screwing me instead.
Me: I gotta go.
Tyree: don't hang up on me.
Me: I'm done talking about this.
Tyree: I don't care Imarni. You're trying to move on from me? You're saying it as if you haven't been fucking with Jamal for the past year. You blocked me out as soon as you found out you were going to uni. You already moved on months ago.
Me: no I haven't because everytime I see you I still give into your bullshit. We had sex the other day and then you told me you got into a relationship and I still let you in after that.
Tyree: I asked you if you wanted me to end it with Tianna and you said no. I was ready to give it up for you and you don't want me so don't tell me you haven't already moved on.
Me: it's not that simple.
Tyree: you're making it hard.
Me: I'm done arguing, I wish you all the best... Tiannas a nice girl so don't mess it up.
I hung up on him and then declined his call since he was calling me back.
Tyree- call me back. I'm not playing with you.
TYREES POV:
I tried to call Imarni back another time but she declined it again. So I put a hoody on then my trainers ready to leave my house to go and speak to her properly because I know I won't be able to sleep with all of this playing on my mind. As soon as I opened my door Tianna stepped up... Fuck.
Tianna: hi baby.
Me: T what's up, why are you here?
Tianna: what?
She stepped back looking at me offended.
Me: na I don't mean it like that. I mean I didn't know you were coming.
Tianna: I just wanted to surprise you. Were you going somewhere?
Me: na, it's kool. Come in.
I bit my lip moving back so she could come into my house.
Tianna: can I get some love?
I took my trainers off hugging her and then I pecked her on her lips as she smiled up at me.
Tianna: what's up with you ?
Me: nothing, I just wasn't expecting you.
Tianna: aren't you happy I'm here?
Me: of course.
Tianna: can you tell your face that then because you don't look happy.
I chuckled kissing her again this time with more passion. I know I need to tell Tianna the truth but I can't do it because I'm still not completely done with Imarni. I still haven't got closure but I don't know if I want closure. My mind is all over the place but I don't want to throw Tianna away for nothing.
Tianna: that's more like it.
I followed her into my front room sitting on the sofa as I tried my hardest to take my mind off of Imarni but it was harder than I thought.
Tianna: Imarni invited me to a girl's night on Friday.
Me: and you're going?
Tianna: of course, why wouldn't I?
Me: you don't know her?
Tianna: everyone's a stranger until you get to know them right? Besides, Taylor and your sister are going to be there too so we can all get to know each other better.
Me: right.
I hope Imarni didn't just invite her to tell her about our history.
Tianna: don't be so negative about it. It should be fun.
Me: where is it?
Tianna: at her mum's house.
I slowly nodded trying to convince myself not to crash the girls night that they're going to have to avoid any drama.
Tianna: anyways you have some making up to do.
Me: why?
Tianna: you disappeared after the club last night. I wanted to come back with you.
Me: I'm sorry baby I told you I was drunk I didn't realise I left until I woke up at Jeremiah's house.
She poked her bottom lip out so I climbed over to her kissing her whilst wrapping her legs around my waist.
Me: I'll make it up to you don't worry.
