Me: Tyree you can't do this
Tyree : I don't care. You can't just leave like this and think it's okay
Me : you knew exactly when I was going because I told you months ago
Tyree: I'm talking about the fact that you're trying to make us just friends when we both know we're more than that.
Me: I'm not going over this with you again I have to go.
Tyree: you're not going.
Me : what do you want from me?
Tyree : I want you
Me: I'm not something you can have. Sorry.
I attempted to open the door until he grabbed my waist from behind pulling me back.
Tyree: I ain't tryna come down to the uni and catch you with some other guy. Especially not the one you're claiming to be your friend.
Me: I told you demari is my friend whether you want to believe it or not.
Tyree: you also told me I would be meeting him today and I haven't so I don't believe you.
Me : you don't need to believe me cause we're not in a relationship.
Tyree : one day you're going to say that and I'm going to leave you alone. That would be the day you regret it so stop trying to front like I'm not anything to you.
Me: I'm doing this for you. You're not going to be wanting to drive hours to come see me and I ain't going to have time to be in a proper relationship.
Tyree : you already know I'm okay with that so why are you making excuses. Is there somebody else?
I answered my phone as my brother called which I knew he eventually would because its almost time to go.
Jeremiah: imarni we need to go now
Me: I'm coming
Jeremiah : where are you?
Me : I'm at tyrees
Jeremiah : just wait there I'm coming
I put my phone back in my pocket turning around to look at tyree.
Tyree : how can I prove to you we can work?
Me : I don't need you to prove to me I need you to respect and understand my decision.
Tyree: no fuck that. I ain't tryna be your friend
Me: I told you what I'm willing to do already.
Tyree: no. You're not even sticking to your own word. You tell me we're friends then you come here for sex and leave like it never happened. You can't do that.
Me: fine. I won't come here.
Tyree: it's too late you've been doing it already.
Me: don't tell me what I can and can't do.
Tyree : okay then fuck you. I'm done.
If only I had a pound for every time he's said that to me. He walked away just as the door knocked. I opened it walking out to get into jeremiahs car.
TYREES POV:
Jay : yoo where you at?
I walked back out into the hall way to see a confused jeremiah
Jay: am I missing something? What happened between you two?
Me : she's pissing me off.
I kissed my teeth sitting on the staircase.
Jay: you need to get ready and come with me cause I'm not driving back alone.
Me : why didn't you get romae to go with you?
Jay : cause marni was already here. Just come and don't be difficult.
I kissed my teeth again going upstairs to get dressed then made my way to his car. Imarni was sitting in the passengers seat screwing me so I just sat in the back putting my earphones in.

Half an hour into the journey she took her phone out to message someone and I couldn't help but look to see who it was... This demari guy, why is she always messaging him? And if they aren't texting they're together I sat in the middle seat trying to read the messages but I was too far away so I reached in front grabbing her phone.
Imarni: what are you doing?
I pulled her phone away since she tried to grab it back.
Jay: I'm trying to drive calm the fuck down.
I sat back in my chair screwing her as she did me. I didn't care if she didn't wanna claim me. She ain't gonna be messing around with anybody else. I will make sure of that.
Imarni : give me my phone back you have no right to go through my shit.
Jeremiah: you shouldn't have anything to hide anyway
Imarni : why are you on his side?
Jeremiah: just don't mess around while I'm driving.
When she finally calmed down I started going through her phone. She had a few messages from my sister giving her advice on starting uni, as I was moving over to her chat with demari a message came through from a unsaved number.
?: what's up Imarni it's Jamal, I asked De for your number since we're gonna be living together for a while. I didn't speak to you much when we first met but I think we should get to know each other better.
I stared at the message in disbelief, does he want me to end his life? I deleted it looking up at Imarni who sat screwing the windscreen.
Me : fix your face
She ignored me so I leaned forward putting her phone on her lap.
Imarni : did you find what you was looking for?
Me: I wanna meet your friend.
Imarni: whatever.
I put my earphones back in thinking about how I was going to deal with this Jamal guy who was trying to make moves on my girl. Maybe I shouldn't jump to conclusions straight away since she doesn't exactly know what he's trying to do yet. I'll just let demari tell me who he is so I can have a few words with him before he tries something else.

Imarni: Tyree get your lazy ass up.
I screwed opening my eyes since marni pulled my earphones out of my ears
Me: yes?
Imarni: we're here.
Me: Where's Jay gone?
Imarni: he's bringing my stuff in.
Me: good I wanna talk to you.
I pulled her into the back seat beside me so I could talk to her but as soon as she looked at me with her innocent expressions I wanted to do more than talk. I leaned over to her while pulling her face closer to mine so we could embrace in a long passionate kiss....
