Taurus (f) x Scorpio (m)

Taurus came home from a long day at work. She sighed. If only my job was an easy one.

She unlocked the door to her house and saw her husband Scorpio standing on the sofa with their six year old daughter named Gwen.

"Mommy! Quick jump on the sofa!" cried Gwen.

Taurus didn't know why, but she played along and jumped on the sofa. "What's going on? Is there a spider on the floor? Or is there broken glass?"

"No mommy. The floors are made of lava."

"Here. Let's build a path to mommy." Scorpio took pillows off the sofa and jumped from pillow to pillow with Gwen behind him, until he jumped on the sofa where Taurus stood. "Here. You play with Gwen while make I spaghetti okay?"

"Sure," replied Taurus.

"Quick mommy! We need to get over to that sofa because this one is sinking in the lava!"

Taurus took off her shoes and jumped around with Gwen while pretending the floor was lava.

"Food's ready!"

Taurus and Gwen walked into the kitchen and everyone began eating their food.

"Gwen, did you have to get spaghetti all over your face?" Taurus wiped Gwen's face.

Scorpio smirked. "I wonder where she gets it from."

"Huh? Oh."  Taurus wiped a bit of spaghetti sauce off her chin. "Thanks for making the spaghetti Scorpio. It was delicious."

"You're welcome honey." Scorpio got up and scraped the remaining food on his plate in the garbage. Then he slid his arms around Taurus' waist. "Want to go see a movie later on tonight?"

"Sure. I'd love to."

"Great. I'll get ask my mom to watch Gwen."

"Perfect."

"BUT I WANT TO SEE A MOVIE TOO!" cried Gwen.

Taurus sighed. "It's a scary adult movie. You wouldn't like it."

"I'm going to grandma's house then?"

Scorpio nodded. "Yes and we'll be a bit late getting home so pack your bag to stay overnight, okay?"

"Okay!" Gwen got up and ran to her room.

Later on that night after they dropped Gwen off at Scorpio's parents house, they drove to the theatre.

"It's nice to get some alone time sometimes." Taurus reached for Scorpio's hand.

"Yeah."

"I can't wait to see the movie that's playing."

"Me either." They bought their tickets and went to get their food.

"Want to split an extra large popcorn?" offered Taurus.

"Sure. As long as we can get skittles too!"

"Okay. Since you planned all this out, it will be my treat."

"Thanks honey." Scorpio leaned up and kissed his wife (who was taller than him with her heels) on the cheek.

"I think you missed." Taurus pointed to her lips.

"You're right." Scorpio kissed her on the lips.

"Let's save a bit of popcorn for Gwen. She loves movie theatre popcorn."

"Sure." Then they bought their food and sat down in the middle of the theatre.

After the movie was finished, Taurus and Scorpio were in the car, ready to drive home.

"Tonight was lots of fun," said Scorpio.

"Yeah. It was."

"I love you." Scorpio leaned in to kiss her.

"Wait. I have something to tell you first."

"Yes?"

"How would you feel about... expanding the family?"

"What do you mean?"

"Having another kid."

"I think that's a great idea."

"Good." Taurus patted her stomach.

"Wait, you're pregnant?"

Taurus nodded her head. "I've known for almost a week."

"Wow. I'm so excited! I can't wait to tell Gwen."  Scorpio started up the car and drove home.
