Virgo and her best friend Capricorn were eating lunch. The university that they went to had a food court.
"University is so much more different than high school," said Virgo while looking around.
"Yeah. The classes are so much bigger. Which class do you hate the most?" asked Capricorn. Virgo was too busy looking around to hear her. "Hello? Virgo?"
"What? Sorry I wasn't paying attention," said Virgo.
"Why do you always do that?"
"Do what?"
"You always look around... as if you're looking for someone," said Capricorn.
"No, I'm not," said Virgo.
"Are you looking for Aries again?" asked Capricorn.
"What? No I'm over him," promised Virgo. Virgo and Aries dated in high school but Aries was a year older. They tried to keep a relationship after Aries went to university ahead of Virgo, but they never got to see each other anymore. Eventually Aries thought it would be best if they broke up because he missed her so much it was starting to affect his grades. Virgo was against this idea but she didn't want Aries' grades to suffer. Now she spent her days wondering why he didn't text her back. Virgo considered the possibility that he didn't love her anymore or that he has a new girlfriend.
"Oh really? I see him over there!" said Capricorn.
"WHERE?!?"
"Oops... it's just someone that looks like him," said Capricorn innocently.
Virgo sighed. "Don't do that!"
Capricorn climbed on top of the table and pointed at Virgo. "I KNEW IT! YOU'RE NOT OVER HIM!" Virgo looked around. Everyone was staring at Capricorn.
"Cappy... there's people watching you," whispered Virgo.
"Oh... right." Capricorn sat back down in her chair properly.
"What if he's dating Libra? They were really close in high school," said Virgo.
"Libra is dating Taurus," said Capricorn.
"How do you know?" asked Virgo.
"Because Taurus is my cousin," replied Capricorn.
"I haven't seen Aries once, ever since I got here," said Virgo.
"Well... this is a really big university. I don't see you anytime except when we eat lunch together," said Capricorn.
"I suppose," said Virgo.
"Why don't you text him first?" asked Capricorn.
"Because... I don't want to be annoying in case he has moved on," replied Virgo. Capricorn stared at her.
"Well if he moved on then you can get over him and find someone else. Do you still have his number?" asked Capricorn.
Virgo blushed and looked at her feet. "No."
"YES YOU DO!"
"NO I DON'T!"
"Let me see!" then Capricorn snatched Virgo's phone off the table and began guessing her password.
"Capricorn don't!" pleaded Virgo.
"Aha! Here he is!" Capricorn started texting.
"CAPRICORN GIVE ME MY PHONE RIGHT NOW OR I WILL STOP BEING YOUR FRIEND!"
"Here you go!"
"What did you do?!?"
"I texted him and asked if he'd like to meet you at the park tonight."
"You WHAT?!?" Virgo's phone vibrated.
"What did he say?"
"He said sure. I'm going to kill you though!"
Capricorn laughed. "You'll thank me later." Then she got up and threw her food in the garbage. Virgo sighed and did the same thing.Virgo was sitting on a bench at the park. She wore a nice outfit and she straightened her hair. Virgo even wore a little bit of make up since Capricorn basically forced her to. She was twiddling her thumbs when she heard footsteps. Virgo quickly turned her head but it was just an older woman walking through the woods. Virgo sighed.
"Why the long face?" Virgo looked up to see Aries standing in front of her. She tried to say something but she didn't know what to say. Aries smirked. "Did you forget how to speak?"
"N-no! It's just... I'm glad I finally got to see you again!" said Virgo shyly. Her cheeks felt warm.
"You haven't changed too much since I last saw you. I was hoping you'd come find me sooner," said Aries.
"I-I didn't know if you had another girlfriend..."
"Virgo, I haven't been able to think about any other girls other than you. It was hard keeping a relationship when you were in high school, but now that we're both in university it will be easier to see each other," said Aries.
"Really? You still want to continue our relationship?" asked Virgo.
"Ending our relationship was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I missed you Virgo."
"I missed you too Aries, but why didn't you try to find me?"
"I didn't know if you moved on or if you had a boyfriend."
"Well I didn't." Then Virgo stood up and hugged Aries. She didn't realize just how much she missed him until she felt tears streaming down her face.
"It's okay. I'm here now. Don't cry, it's alright," said Aries.
"You have to promise that you won't let me go ever again!" demanded Virgo.
"I promise."
