The lunch bell rang. Taurus and Gemini stood up.
"Do you want to study in the library with me?" asked Taurus. They had a history test after lunch.
Gemini shook her head. "Not really. Studying before a test makes me nervous."
"Okay I'll go on my own then."
"Okay. See you after lunch." Gemini walked into the cafeteria.
Taurus went to her locker and got her study notes. Then she started walking to the library. When she walked inside, she sat down at a table and started studying. I hate history. I mean it's nice to know about our past and all but we don't need to do tests on this stuff.

Aries ran out of class. He was right about to run into the cafeteria, when the teacher was there crossing her arms.
"How did you get here so quickly?" Aries ran a hand through his hair.
"I have my ways." The teacher glared at him.
"Okay I'm just going to go eat my lunch now."
"No you're not. You have a history test after lunch."
"And?"
"And you have to study."
"You can't make me!"
"You're doing very poorly in history. Your parents gave me permission to make you study at lunch."
"Seriously? That sucks!"
"Come on, Aries." The teacher dragged Aries away.
***
"I need to get my book and study notes!"
"Right ahead of you." The teacher passed him a bag full of his stuff.
"I hate you."
"That's no way to talk to your aunt. But the feeling is mutual." She waited for Aries to sit down in the library before walking away.
Aries tried to sneak out, but the librarian warned him that wasn't a good idea. Feeling defeated, Aries sat down and started to study. He quickly got bored and started drumming on the table using two pencils.
***
Taurus looked up from her book to see Aries glaring at his notes. After his loud and annoying drum solo, he seemed to actually try to study.
"You're studying here too?"
"WAH-" Aries jumped. "Oh Taurus. I didn't know you were there."
"Ah. So I'm invisible to people like you?"
"No you're just really quiet. And what do you mean people like me?"
Damn, he seems like a jerk but he has nice eyes. "People like you. The popular sporty people that think that they're better then everyone else. The ones that are too busy thinking about themselves to notice the quiet people like me."
"What? Not all jocks think they're better then everyone else."
"I've yet to see one that doesn't!"
"Me! I'm not like that. And saying all jocks are obsessed with themselves is a stereotype. A smart girl like you should know that."
"Then prove it."
"How am I going to do that? I don't need to prove anything to you. I don't even know you."
"I don't know, figure it out."
"Fine. Then you have to prove that you're not a snobby know-it-all!"
"I'm not a snobby know-it-all!"
"That's the way it seems to me."
"Fine. How about after this we try to get to know each other. Then we can decide what we think of each other then."
"Okay. Let's get pizza after school."
Taurus rolled her eyes. "Deal." She didn't want to get pizza after school, but for some reason she felt the need to prove herself.
***
Aries and Taurus walked into the pizza place.
"So, who's going to start?" asked Aries as they sat down at a table.
"You can."
"Well, I'm into sports. You were right about that."
"And you were right when you said I was smart."
"Wait, how did you find the history test?"
"It was a little hard. But I think I did alright. How about you?"
"Good. I think. Although for the last question where we had to write our opinion, my answer was probably the most sarcastic answer ever written."
Taurus laughed before she could stop herself. Aries looked at her with a surprised but amused face.
The waitress came and they ordered pizza.
"No way. We like the same kind of pizza." Taurus squinted her eyes at Aries. "Did you copy me on purpose?"
"I can't tell if you're joking or not."
"I'm joking. So, do you have any family?"
"Nah I spawned out of mid-air." Taurus gave him an annoyed glance. "Fine. I have a little sister. She looks up to me and idolizes me."
"Lucky. I have an older brother and he's a pain."
"Hmm... I've decided you're not a snobby know-it-all."
"It only took you a few minutes to come to that conclusion."
"I only said that because of what you said about me."
" I've decided you're not only obsessed with yourself."
"So, want to be friends?"
"Why not? We can hang out later if you'd like."
"Yeah. Sure!"
