~~~~~~~~~"So you and Taylor are gonna be by yourselves for two weeks?" Mia asked again to confirm as we stopped at my locker.
I'm still on that as well. I wished my parents would see what I mean by her being the devil's daughter. She's not perfect at all. No one is. But she doesn't believe that. She's pretty smart and all, and I believe that's why my parents refuse to see the bad side of her. Everytime we have a family gathering or some type of party, it's always...Aww Taylor's done this...and Taylor's done that. She's such a good person. It sickens me. It's like when she's only around me, she's mean and hatred. I don't know why? She's the one who really has it all. She's has a car, a full scholarship at her college, has friends to hang out with. A serious relationship....
Yeah, I know what I said. My parents don't like Liam for some reason. He's a really nice guy so I don't know what's their deal.
"Yeah, my parents are "currently" going on a two-week vacation to Hawaii, and I'm going to be stuck with my 20 year old sister, So I have nothing to look forward to for the next two weeks except the party at Connor's next week, and the field trip tomorrow at the museum." I managed to say all in piece.
I sighed as I tried to recover my lungs from talking so much. I don't like this idea at all.
"Just avoid her whenever you guys are in the house together, she'll get the hint at some point." She tried explaining to me to make me feel better.I just blinked at her. How could I possibly avoid her if we are in the same—
Wait. I got an idea.
"Wait, instead of me staying at home why don't I come over to your house and stay a couple of nights there." I suggested.
She smiled and nodded.
I began grabbing my stuff for my first two classes and they were Math and History. I don't even feel like doing anything today. Knowing today is the day my parents are leaving for the airport, I kinda felt sad. They could've took me with them and left that reptile at home to go to school. My grades are good and high enough for me to skip two——
The bell rung and I was immediately pulled by Mia. I instantly closed my locker before going with her to our home room.
Our home room was down the hall and you would think that it wasn't far. Trust me these halls are so damn long, by the time you make it down the hall your legs felt like they've fallen off in the middle of the hall.
We finally made it toward the doors, and went in.
Ms. Tate was sitting at her desk taking attendance as we walked in. I guess she wanted this day to go by fast. I'm with her on that too.
When we sat down I never got a chance to look at Ms. Tate, and when I did get a chance she looked straight at me. It was like she was trying to figure something out.
And then all of sudden she looked familiar to me. Once my expression showed that, she quickly got up and went towards the board to write something.
Okay that was weird.
I turned to look at Mia and she was already looking at me. She must've saw the whole thing.
"You saw that right?" I asked her.
"Yeah, it was like one of those faces when you remember something."
"But what would that have to do with me?" I asked in confusion.She shrugged and soon the bell rang. I got up to go back to my locker to grab the rest of my things I was supposed to get before we even came to our home room, but I got too caught up in my thoughts about my parents leaving me with my sister Taylor. I am still upset about that.
