-------After the incident that happened, the four of us drove back to Tyler's house since he suggested it wasn't safe to go home right away even if they didn't know where we lived....
I was absolutely amazed and impressed how big it was but I wanna ask...
Why live in such a big house by yourself? Isn't it too much to handle? I know damn well it would for me, I couldn't maintain a big house.......I'll probably forget I have all those rooms I don't even use to be honest...
"Hey." I hear someone say softly as I laid my head down on one of guest room beds.
I lifted my head slightly to see Leah standing in the doorway.
Deciding to sit up against the headboard, I brung my knees up to my chest as she sat down on the bed..
"Hey.." I said softly, looking down at my hands.
There was a long pause of silence as neither of us said anything.
"We need to talk.." She looked at me. She looked sad when she said that, as if whatever she's about to tell me, she doesn't want to..
I looked at her and didn't say anything as she sat down on the edge of the bed...
"I went....to their house this afternoon...." She started off, not making eye contact with me..
"Why did you? Me and Lauren told you not to go for a specific reason and you know what that reason is..."
She didn't say anything as she sighed and looked down at her hands..
"I know but, I was actually forced to go.........I had no choice." She mumbled, looking at me shortly after..
"Forced? What do you mean?" I asked, squinting my eyes at her.
"Taylor...........showed up at the parking lot of the school, and when I was about to get in the car, on my way home, she threatened me with a gun."
My eyes widened a little as I repeated what she said in my head..
"She threatened you with a gun?!" My voice got higher."Shh...." She looked at me.
I rolled my eyes.
How dare that...that...ugh!
"Why did she threaten you with a gun?" I questioned her.
She looked at me and pulled her hair back.
"To get me to go to their house..."
"For what?"I looked at her.
She didn't respond right away as she had her head hanging low.
"They.......offered me a deal....and it...involved being able to see my daughter.." She mumbled, but it was loud enough for me to make out to what she was saying.
"What type of deal?"
She didn't say anything so I sat up forward, touching her right shoulder.
"Leah?"
"What happened?" I asked in a now concerned voice.."They.....facetimed her and, I was able to speak to her for just a few seconds until the phone was snatched from my hands.......The deal was that if they gave me back my daughter........I would have to........to..."
She stopped talking and looked down at the floor.
"I would have to lose contact with you again. Meaning that I would have to get another job, and you would have to move back in with them.."
I continued to stare at her, not knowing what to say afterwards....
Why are they doing do this? Just why? What's the point?...What did we even do for them to hate us so much?
