Audrey's POV

---------

"Audrey!" I heard Leah shout as I slammed her car door shut, storming towards the house.

I was pissed off at the moment. How dare she try and ignore my presence knowing damn well she saw me this morning. Yeah, I know I didn't say anything either but I have a right to be upset because of her.

How do you expect someone to open up to you and tell you things when you're constantly putting pressure on them, and trying to force it out of them?

"Audrey, what the hell is going on with you?" Leah asked me as she stopped infront of her door to the apartment.

I didn't look at her because I was a little angry at her to for what she did as well. I know why she did what she did yesterday but that what kinda uncalled for.
"Everything." I admitted.

I'm very frustrated and nothing seems to be going right. All of this is too much to process....I mean the headaches are getting worse, I can't sleep, eat, think or anything.

Why did my life suddenly start to turn the other way? Just why?

She looked at me sympathetically, because she probably sort of guessed why I had such an attitude.
"Is this about yesterday?" She asked, unlocking the door with her key.

I sighed, still not looking at her.

She didn't say anything else until we both got into the house.

I walked in behind her, taking my shoes off and immediately heading for the stairs. I could use some alone time before I explode completely.

"Before you go upstairs, can we at least talk about it?" She asked as I paused on the third step.
"Look, I feel somewhat guilty about it and I know things are absolutely crazy around here and most importantly......I know how you feel. I went through the same thing when I first found out, so I can relate." She said to me.

I can hear she was hurting in her voice as well.

I turned around to face her.
"It's.....not just about yesterday...it's more than that..." I told her, looking down at the floor.

"That's okay Audrey.....that's why I'm here...........that's what sisters are for right?"

I looked up at her, smiling a little at her as she did the same.

I nodded and sat my bag down on the stairs and took a seat next to her on the couch.

The silence filled as we both got situated before speaking.

"So....lets start with what happened yesterday, so we can get that out of the way." She suggested, sitting her phone on the coffee table.

I agreed and began to sit up straight.

"Well my first question is about when my m- she was going to tell me something about you..not being so innocent or whatever but you cut her off.....what was she talking about?" I asked her, facing her so I can hear everything she says correctly.

She looked at me and then looked down at her hands.

"Um....well...." she started off.

I rose my eyebrows. This can't be good.

"What she was talking about was that.....I've done a few illegal things growing up, and I.....was arrested a few times....but I only did it because I wanted to get back at them for kicking me out..." She said.

She has a criminal record? Well that's certainly surprising.
"How did you get off the hook so many times?"
"Well, the police officer that arrested me at least two times before, had knew them before everything and I'm guessing they paid him to let me go so yeah..."
