"Tickets, please." One of the security guards said as we approach the main entrance doors along with a few other people that happened to arrive at the same time as us.
You could already here the blasting music coming from the building as more and more people began to show up in their limousines or other luxurious rides as time went by.

Each of us gave them the ticket as they matched it with our IDs and just like that we were walking in the doors.
Once we got in, another security guard welcomed us along with Mr. Price and the assistant principal. We followed them to another set of doors and once they opened them, we were able to take in how beautiful and well designed the big room was.
"Wow...." I exhaled after a brief chuckle, gazing at the decorations going around the big room as Tyler suddenly approached by my side, allowing me to take ahold of his arm.

"Well, we may have some sort of a shitty school but when it comes to special occasions like this, there's not a school that can beat us." Connor smirked as the five of us began to walk pass a bunch of familiar people to find an empty table that would have enough seats.
"To be honest, I was expecting something wayy different from this." Hailey told us as we all sat down.

"Exactly, like there are tons of things that need to be fixed at our school and it looks like they've had the money all along. Now don't get me wrong I appreciate their hard work in putting this prom together and all but I sort of wish they would've put most of it towards the school, you know, for future references and incoming classes as the years go by. I mean we're gonna be gone in less than a month but still.." Connor shrugged.

Although Connor was somewhat right, I had to get them to look on the bright side of this whole thing."
"Well, who cares." I leaned forward on the table, resting my arms on it as well. "The good thing is that our school at least is still in the good spirits when it comes to events like this and instead of being stunned by it, wishing they've would've spent the money other wise, why don't we just all.....be thankful. Like you said Connor, we're only here for a few more weeks and then we're gone. No more coming back to this school. Freedom is calling us, am I right? Well, just for a little while until we all head for college but you get what I mean right?" I rose an eyebrow, looking at everyone back and forth to make sure they were on board with my mini speech.
"So let's just have fun and enjoy it........starting with........" I trailed off my sentence as I looked at the now crowded dance floor and everyone began smiling.

"The dance floor. Now, everyone up, remove your jackets and let's dance." I announced proudly as everyone cheered and followed my lead to the dance area where I'm pretty sure is beginning of the fun that we're about to experience tonight.

Once the five of us got on the dance floor, a upbeat song instantly came on with perfect timing, putting a grin on Nick's face as he began letting loose and busting out his dance moves.
"Been waiting all year for this, baby!" He yelled, and backed away from us as he started hitting some cool moves that started to catch a few eyes in our direction as we danced and cheered him on.

"Great speech you spoke back at the table." I heard Tyler's voice as he leaned by my right ear to make sure I heard him over the loud music and people.
I smiled and looked at him, "Thanks. I mean someone had to do it." I responded back with a shrug as I kept moving my body to the rhythm of the song.

After hearing what I said, I suddenly got in the mood I apparently was supposed to be in and began to feel the energy.

"Oo, somebody got movesss.." He sung as he started getting in rhythm with my moves as we all got closer together, continuously dancing.
"Pfft, I do not. Nick is the one with the moves. We should all follow him." I suggested as we all looked at Nick's feet and tried our best copying his dance moves to the song.

It was a repeat of about ten to fifteen foot moves and turns but after awhile we all suddenly got it and now we were starting to look like a dance crew.
"Ayeeeee, what?! Ayeeee what?" We all shouted in unison, grabbing more attention as people starting piling in a row with us and doing what we were doing.

I laughed as Tyler suddenly joined in on Nick and Connor's silly dances after everyone stopped watching us and went back to their own thing.
"Check this out." Tyler smirked at me as Connor and Nick gave him some space and then out of nowhere, Tyler got low to the ground and started spinning on his back and into the air in fast circles with his legs moving.

I immediately looked stunned as the crowded started cheering for him. I began clapping and cheering as well when he did a different move that involved spinning full speed on his hands at a low level.

Once he stopped and got back on his feet, Connor and Nick gave him a huge hug as he started smiling widely at the attention he got from bursting out his comfort zone and showing everyone what he has in stored even though he didn't attend our school. I'm sure they'll be talking about this one until graduation. Guaranteed.

Hailey suddenly stopped dancing and told us that she was going to get something to drink, leaving Connor to go with her and the rest of us back to the table to take a break.

"Well that went better than expected." Tyler chuckled as we all sat down, waiting for Nick and Connor to get back.
"Want a drink?" He offered as he got back up, looking at me as I looked inside my purse for my phone.

"Um, yeah sure. Look for Pepsi, and if not that just give me some water please, thanks." I smirked kindly at him as he nodded before taking off.
"Tyler, hold up." Nick suddenly shouted at him as he got up from his seat to catch up with him and take off, leaving me at the table by myself.

I shook my head as I turned back to my screen and looked at a new message from Leah.

-Hey, how's it going? Having fun?

Before I went away to type my response back to her, I heard heels clacking against the floor. Maybe a bit too hard for my ears as I cringed at the sound and waited for her to pass so it wouldn't distract me from typing what I was going to say....

The sound of the heels suddenly stopped as I started typing away, gladly that the person was gone and far away from me until I heard a familiar voice speak. "Well it looks like someone's having a great time." She smirked, leaning to her side as she looked me up and down.

"Well, I was......until now." I sarcastically smiled at her and then looked around for any sign of any one of them. They would leave me alone right before this gremlin shows up.

Fucking awesome.
