Why Me?

Before we headed to Audrey's school, Taylor decided I should surprise Audrey with some food instead of eating that possibly nasty ass school lunch.
And of course I thought it was a good idea and so we headed to Little Caesars and bought her a $5 box. I'm sure she'll like anything we get for her as long as she doesn't have to eat whatever they're serving.
"You know what actually add a large sausage and cheese pizza. For Hailey, Connor, and Nick. Might as well buy them something too." I suggested as Taylor spoke to the drive thru guy.

While she was ordering more food, I decided to text Audrey and tell her to tell everyone that I was on my way to drop off some pizza.
If you noticed, I said 'I' because still no one knows that Me and Taylor are—

Wait, what are we?

"What are we?" I suddenly questioned her. We never did talk about us or if there was an us.
"What do you mean?" She asked as she pulled up to the first window to pay for the food.

"I'm talking about us." I pointed at her and then back at me, hopefully she gets what I mean.

"Um, whatever you want us to be." She shrugged and then rolled her window down to give the guy the cash for the food.

"But I want your thoughts on this too." I replied and she looked at me.

"Well," She started off before looking ahead before pulling up again. Damn, today the lines are moving quick.
"I want us to be together.."
"As in like a couple?" I rose an eyebrow and she began nodding. Well that makes two of us.

"How about you?" She asked me as I looked at the window as it opened.
"Here's your food, ma'am. I'll be back with the drinks." The woman announced while handing Taylor the bag and the boxes. Apparently she wanted some wings to eat with the pizza so we added that too. When Taylor grabbed the bag, the two boxes plus the small one, I saw the woman make a quick wink at her before she stepped back and turned around to go get the drinks.
"Did she just wink at you?" I rose my eyebrows and Taylor smirked, raising her shoulders.
"I think she did.." She answered, making me glare at the woman as she poured Pepsi into one cup.

"Oh chill out, it's just a wink. It isn't like she was asking for my numb—" I looked at Taylor as she stopped mid sentence before she removed a napkin attached to the box with a number on it.
She cleared her throat, "Well more like the other way around." She chuckled as I squinted my eyes at the woman that was coming this way. Did she not assume that I could've been her girlfriend or something?

"Well once she comes back, hand that little napkin back to her so she can try again on the next person in line." I said as she handed me the boxes.
"Well, last time I checked you're not my girlfriend yet so." She smirked and I snapped my head at her and was about to say something smart when the woman came back to hand her the drinks.
"And here are your drinks...." The woman smiled at her as Taylor took the drinks and gave them to me.

"Did you check in the bag to make sure you have everything?" She suddenly added before Taylor rolled the window up. It's like she's ignoring my presence, because not once has she look at me and said anything.

Bitch.

"Um, yeah I have everything. Thanks—"
"Actually, can you get us some more napkins?" I suddenly spoke to get her attention in my most fake polite voice ever.

She looked at me after taking her eyes off of Taylor with an annoyed look. Okay, you know what?
"Um, sure." She mumbled and then turned around to go get the extra napkins.

When she turned around, I looked at Taylor.
"I sense jealousy." She grinned, making me roll my eyes before I unbuckled my seatbelt and grabbed her shirt, bringing her close to me before connecting my lips with hers.
"Just claiming what's mine." I whispered before kissing her again.
She didn't move back as she smiled into the kiss and kept going until we heard someone clearing their throat behind us.
