I groaned in great pain, fluttering my eyes open and close as I slightly moved my head around, hearing the loud echoing voices coming from a distance as my vision began to go in and out.

"Audrey?!"

"Audrey?! Can you hear me?!" I heard someone's voice shout infront of me as I struggled to hear who's voice it was, but because of the massive pounding headache that I had, that was blocking me from concentrating on anything at the moment, I couldn't grasp who it was. There was too many voices in the background yelling and it was making it ten times worse.

I turned my head slightly after something caught the corner of my eye to see small pieces of broken glass.

"Audrey?! Please! Say something!" The figure spoke again, shaking my body a bit roughly.

I opened my mouth to respond but failed to succeed as my strength gave up on me. I suddenly gasped silently, before closing my eyes and then suddenly everything went black.

"Audrey!!"

FIFTEEN MINUTES EARLIER

All eyes were on Jordan as she re entered the living room, Xavier and Lauren took a seat on the couch like the rest of us while Jordan stood infront of the TV. As much confused as I was, I turned to look at Leah to see if she knew what was going on, but all she gave me was a side shrug and a small glance at Lexi, who was quietly sitting next to her possibly wondering the same thing.

I glanced at my parents to see them staring at Jordan in a way I couldn't quite figure out. From the look on their faces, they didn't look very pleased to see her like they were to see Leah and I, which brings millions of questions to my mind and bringing them up is probably not the best idea right now.

"So I guess I'll just—go ahead and poke the bear since clearly that's what it's gonna take for everyone to get around what needs to be said and honestly? I don't even know why I am here." She shook her head, brief chuckling for a second. I squinted my eyes at her as she glanced at everyone, mainly keeping her eyes on Mom and Dad as they sat there watching her.

"What do you mean?" I suddenly asked her, highly confused as I tried figuring out what was missing here. "Try asking these two. I'm sure they can elaborate more since they are at fault with why things turned out the way they did." She crossed her arms at them, I turned my head to them, waiting on someone to tell me what the hell was going on and what did I not know but they only sat there, not saying anything at all. "Come on, tell her."

"She 'deserves' to know, right?" She air quoted with her fingers, looking at them and Leah.

"Know what?" I sat straight up this time, glancing at everyone now. I looked at Xavier who was beside me, hoping he'd step up and say something but he sighed and shook his head, looking down at the floor.
"She's talking about what happened after you lost your memory." Mom finally spoke in a low voice after so long, looking at me. I rose an eyebrow now interested in what went down because it's clear that something wrong happened and I'm desperate to know.

"You're aware of that right?" Dad asked, looking at me the same way Mom was.
"Yeah. I was told that." I answered, folding my hands together. "Wait, how did I lose my memory?" I hurriedly asked, believing that it was my chance to do so since we were practically on that subject.
"When you were younger....one day you were playing outside in the backyard back at home with Jordan, and you were running around chasing each other. Laughing, smiling, having fun as any other kid..." I nodded, staring at Mom carefully as she told the story.
