"Thank you.......for letting me stay here........I really didn't have anywhere else to go to except a hotel room." I mumbled as I sat my bag down on the bed of the room I was in when the last time I was here with Lauren and Leah.............I miss them so much.

"No problem. I'm glad I came when I did. I was coming over to try and have a talk with them about everything but then I didn't see a car parked infront of the house or in the driveway so I got ready to get back in my car and leave when I seen someone climbing into a window...which was you..." He explained as he leaned against the edge of the door with his arms crossed.

His appearance in a white t-shirt and gray joggers was really keeping me off track right now. I needed to focus on what I was gonna do tomorrow since I know I won't be going to school and staring at his muscular body isn't gonna help..
"I hope they don't come here looking for me..." I say with a sigh as I finally looked at him while I was trying to put my hair up in a loose ponytail, it was flying everywhere. I needed to flat iron it soon before it got worse. I hate having long hair sometimes, it gets so ugh! Nevermind.
"They won't. My house is secured with everything we need to be protected. Cameras, alarms systems, motion sensors, and even some bodyguards that I hired. And plus, they don't even know me. Never seen me before either." He reassured me with a slight smirk.
"How? I thought that day when I blacked out in the living room you came in to take me to the hospital with Leah?" I asked, confused.
"Yeah. By the time I came, they were gone. So they haven't met me before and they can't come looking for you or me here unless......"
"Leah says something to them...." I gasped, looking at him after I finished his sentence.

He paused and raise his eyebrows slightly.
"You think she wouldn't tell them anything about you?" I asked him, as I dug in my bag for my towel and my pajamas out. I wanted to take a hot shower to relieve myself from today's events.
"Of course not. I mean, why would she do something like that?" He answered.
I scoffed lightly under my breath. "You'd be surprised.." I mumbled while lastly getting out my face towel and soap.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked in a questioning voice.

I looked at him and then turned my head.
"Nothing, nevermind.." I shook my head, I don't want to tell him anything because I'm not sure if even knows the important parts of this whole situation.
"Can I take a shower?" I asked, swinging the towel over my right shoulder and grabbing the bottle of soap.
"Yeah, sure. You remember where the bathrooms are right?"
I nodded thinking about the ones he showed me. He has about 5 bathrooms. Again, why the hell does he have such a big house. Doesn't he get scared living here by himself?
"Alright, cool. I'm gonna order us something. Does pizza sound good or no?" He asked me as we both walked out of the room.
"Yeah it sounds good."
"Pepperoni, Sausage, Cheese, or Supreme?" He smirked as he gave me a selection of toppings.

I smiled at him as I flipped the light switch in the bathroom on.
"Surprise me." I replied with a small smile and entered the bathroom.
"Okay, I will."

I closed the bathroom door and turned the shower on. After a couple minutes of letting the hot water run, I stripped my clothes off and got in....

"Thanks, and keep the change." I heard Tyler tell the person at the door before appearing in the living room with a big pizza box and a small bag.
"And....here we are." He sat the box on the table infront of the couch..

"I'll be right back, I'm gonna get some cups and napkins." He said before leaving to the kitchen.

I grabbed the first slice along with a plastic plate that he must've ordered with the food he bought.

He came back in the living room just a few seconds later with two cups and a bottle of Pepsi.
"Oooh, my favorite." I smirked playfully as he chuckled, sitting down next to me on the couch.
"Figured. A few days ago I looked in Leah's fridge and all the drinks I saw besides water was really wine and Pepsi." He shook his head while smiling as he poured the soda into both of the cups.

I stopped chewing.
"You went over her house the other day? H-How is she and her daughter?" I asked concerned. I haven't really heard anything about or from her since that day I ended up in the hospital....
"They're....doing good actually. Lexi's attending at the school she's working at so she could keep an eye on her I guess..."
"Her name is Lexi?" I asked him to make sure I heard the name right...I'm guessing she went with any name that started with an L like hers..........just like our mom did with me...
"Yeah......such a cute name for her. It fits her too..." He answered me as he sat back against the couch, taking a big bite out of his slice of pizza.
"Yeah.....well, I wouldn't know that, considering the fact that I still haven't got the actual chance to meet her and see how she looks...." I mumbled while staring at my untouched cup on the table. It still hurts that it's been 14 years and I don't know a damn thing about my niece except her name, which I just found out about just a couple seconds ago...

He touched my shoulder so I turned my head towards him.
"You'll get to meet her, okay? Right now it's just completely complicated with everything and everyone right now. Me and Leah are working on a plan for you guys to reunite again..."
"What's taking so long? I-I really miss her Tyler. She's like really the only person I can count and depend on right about now." I began to tear up but I immediately wiped my eyes and grabbed the cup infront of me to sip on.
"I know you miss her, and I'm pretty sure she misses you too but.....we can't rush this. If we do then they're gonna try and make sure you guys are so far apart that it would be nearly impossible to see each other again in person. So just hang tight, let me work this out and I promise you that everything will go back to the way it was, with an additional bonus of finally getting to meet your niece.......you know she acts like you sometimes. Even though I don't really know you like that but there's some things that I saw in her that reminds me of you." He smiled at me.

I nodded and returned the smile, and after a few seconds of silent staring at each other, I turned back to eat my last slice of pizza on my plate.
"So what movie do you wanna watch?" He asked as he scrolled down the list on Netflix.
"A scary one." I said while grabbing the blanket next to me and throwing on top of me.

I looked at him because he didn't say anything after that.
"You sure? Because we can watch something like the Trolls.." He smirked, earning a gasp from me.
"Well excuse me sir, for your information I watch scary movies all the time." I sassily said as I sat up.
"That's what they all say, then the next thing you know they're directly under you." He smirked even wider as he got up to throw the pizza box away along with our plates.
"Well, I'm a whole different person. So I'll prove you wrong."
"I'm waiting on it." He replied in the kitchen.

I shook my head and chuckled as I went to reach for my phone on the side of me when I remembered I locked it up in my locker at school. Well at least I got some goodness out of it though.

I suddenly felt a vibration on the left side of me and looked to see Tyler's phone ringing. I squinted my eyes so that I could read the persons name but his phone was too far away so I scooted closer towards it and made sure he wasn't coming back yet...

I grabbed his phone and looked closer and it read: Leah.

I gasped silently and threw his phone back where it was when I heard his footsteps coming back. I should've answered it so that I could hear her voice again.
"Um, your phone is vibrating." I mumbled while I pointed towards his phone. Please hurry and answer it before she ends the call.

He swung a towel over his shoulder and picked it up to answer it.

It didn't take long for his face expression to change as he went over to the chair next to his TV to grab his jacket.
"Stay put, I'll be right there." He said before putting his shoes on.
"What's going on?" I asked worriedly, as I stood up, walking over to him.
"Nothing, just stay here. I gotta deal with something, I'll come back." He told me as he opened the door.
"Let me come with you then."
"No, Audrey. They're all there looking for you, and if they find out that you're with me who knows what the hell they'll do and I can't let that happen so just stay here and play my game or something to keep you busy while I'm gone.."

"But-"

He closed the door behind him and I rolled my eyes as I went back to the couch to sit down. I wanted to go so that I could see Leah and Lexi but according to Tyler, I can't do that.....

Or can I?
