---------

I yawned as we got off the highway and pulled up at a red light, looking out of the window at the somewhat empty streets. I guess this a town where no one really likes to be out at this time.
"Looks like not a lot of people live or come out here to visit. I wonder why.." Ace said and everyone made a side mark in agreement. "Well, maybe it's because of the way it looks around here."
"So dull and mysterious." Eason commented.
"And trashy." I added as I squinted closer towards the window to see tons of garbage on the side on the road, scattered everywhere, letting all types of animals and creatures get millions of scraps from it. Someone has definitely been slacking on their job. Lazy asses.
"Issac, y'all good back there?" I heard Jay asked, looking in the rear view mirror.

I turned around to see them behind us and Issac did a silly wave before he answered him. "Yeah, we're good. Right behind you." I giggled and shook my head before I turned and looked at Ace's computer. He had the map on the screen and he also had another map that showed Taylor's phone location.

Apparently it wasn't really moving because she was still at the hospital.
I wonder why she's in there. Did she hurt herself or something?-

Wait, hold up. Why the hell am I concerned? I don't give a damn about what happened to her and why she's in there.
Just wait until I see her and she's out of that hospital, she's gonna be right back in there. And probably for weeks.
"We're almost there." Ace announced as I looked at the time estimated to arrival.

Once we get there, Me and Tyler were gonna go in to see what the hell is going on. We removed our black vests and changed into some jackets so we wouldn't look suspicious while we were in there. If Taylor really was in there, I was gonna threaten her with questions until she tells me where Audrey is. I know she knows where she's at. Apparently she decided to show up at my house to make a scene infront of Morgan.

Speaking of her, I need to call her and check up on her and see how shes holding up with Lexi. I had told Morgan a little what was happening but not too much to have her worry, I just informed her to pick up Lexi from afterschool and bring her back to her house until I was finished....I can't have my daughter alone in a house again......not after what happened 3 years ago...

I immediately wiped my left eye before a tear fell out. Every time I think about it, I have a flash back to the day I came home from a long day at work with food for us, only to find her gone and the back door lock broken off. I had dropped to the floor after searching the house and just sat there sobbing for hours until Lauren came home that day. I didn't eat, sleep, drink.......nothing. It was like my life shutdown after finding out that she was gone. But I know that'll never happening again. Ever.
"Make a left turn right here?" Jay looked at Ace in the rear view mirror as we ended down on a small street.
"Yeah, and after that go about two miles and make another left and you'll be-"

He stopped talking, making everyone turn and look at him as he squinted his eyes and went closer towards his computer screen. "What's wrong?" Eason asked he tried to see what Ace was looking at and so was I.
"It's showing here that she's leaving the hospital from one of the back exits, I believe and now I think she stopped." He explained making me look at the computer screen. What the fuck is she doing? Isn't she injured or something? "Well we need to speed this up a little before she leaves, and then we'll have no choice but to follow her to who knows where." Jay said as he pressed his right foot down even more on the gas pedal, making the truck go even faster as Issac did the same thing behind us.

A few short minutes later, we pulled into the hospital's visitors parking lot and Issac pulled on the left of us. Everyone unbuckled their seatbelts and took a glance around the somewhat medium sized hospital that looked the most presentable building out of all the ones we've passed on our way here. "Alright, everyone knows their position. We can't waste anytime so Leah, Eason, Hailey, and Tanner. Let's go." He opened the door as I did same and I looked around the parking lot before I seen Hailey come around the truck and stand next to me. "You okay?" She asked me and I shook my head even though I wasn't. It was just an instinct to do every time someone asks me that nowadays. "Yeah, I'm alright. I just pray that nothing goes wrong and we get her back after all of this." I shrugged as the five of us began walking towards the entrance. Eason, Tanner and Hailey were gonna separate and stand outside and be the lookout in case they saw anything suspicious happening outside the hospital while Me and Tyler went inside.
"The tracker showed that she left outside the hospital and stopped moving near an exit. How are we gonna figure out which exit she's at?" I asked as we entered the main entrance. "We'll figure something out." He answered me as we casually went over to the receptionist desk.
She looked up at me. "Hi, how may I help you two?" She asked kindly, sitting her pen down on a clipboard she had laying infront of her.
I glanced at Tyler and then back at the lady. "Um, hi. We were just wondering if you had a patient named Taylor Washington on one of your lists?" I asked in a polite voice.

She looked at me hesitantly before I came up with something to back up my question. "Oh! We're her friends. I'm Leah and this is Tyler." She looked at him and he spoke to her. I gave her another reassuring smile so she could believe it.
"Well then....let's see here....." She said as she turned to the right to look at her computer.

She began to tap away as I took a small glance around the waiting room. Empty as hell.

"Well it looks like here that we don't have anyone named Taylor Washington in our system today. Are you sure you have the right name?" She asked, making me look at Tyler. Well duh, I just said we're her friends, of course we would have her name right. The hell? "Yeah....can you check again?" Tyler pitched in, making her raise an eyebrow before she did a small eye roll before returning back to the computer. I wanted to make a smart comment about her sudden attitude but then I remembered we needed her help at the moment.
"Nope, I still don't see anyone named Taylor Washington." She said once again, making me look at Tyler in slight confusion.
If she wasn't signed in here as a patient, why was she here then?
"Okay thank you ma'am for your time, we will be going now." Tyler smiled at her as he motioned me to follow him out of the hospital.
I was hesitant before I let my legs begin to walk away towards the exit before I suddenly gasped making him turn around. I also did a turn around and sped walk towards the desk after an idea-well theory popped in my head. I was hoping that what I was thinking wasn't true but the only way to find out was to go back up to her.
"I'm sorry to bother again, but can you check in the computer for another name? I promise you this is the last time you will hear from us or see us after this." I begged her as she looked up at me again with an annoyed look. Bitch.

She sighed and dropped the pen on her desk before turning back to her computer for the third time in a row and turned her head in my direction.
"Name?" She mumbled.

I saw Tyler come back with a confused expression. "What are you doing?" He whispered towards me. I lifted my hand up at him, "Audrey Washington." I said, cringing at the last name.

We both waited as she typed in Audrey's name.
"Yes, we have a patient named Audrey Washington here." She finally responded, making my eyes light up to its highest.
"Can you give us the room number please?" I begged her, anxious for her answer.

She didn't answer right away. "Please. I'm seriously begging you right now. I need to go up there and see this person now immediately......it's really important." I mumbled the last part, taking my eyes off her and onto the counter where the hand sanitizers were.

She didn't respond right away as she continue to look at me and then she looked at Tyler before looking back at the computer. "Room 242. Second floor." She said.
I thanked her and immediately took off down the hallway towards the elevator, not caring if I was going the wrong way or not.
"Wait, Leah. Slow down." Tyler grabbed my arm as we entered the elevator.
He pressed the number two button and the doors closed.

My hands were practically shaking as I impatiently waited for these doors to open back up. This is the longest elevator ride on earth. I honestly
don't know what to do once I go in there.

"Is Audrey there?" We heard Tanner ask as the doors opened. "We're about the find out." Tyler answered him as we jogged down the hallway, reading the numbers.

"Here." He said as we stopped infront of the door number 242.
He backed away and allowed me to go in first but I stopped my hand from turning on the door handle.
I closed my eyes for a few seconds as my heart began to race. Inside my head, there were voices in my head telling me to open it. But others were saying don't.
"Go ahead Leah."

I turned to look at him before I nodded and took a deep breath before I turned the door handle and opened the door, walking inside.
