Mia's POV

"I refuse to answer any of your questions for the last time." I repeated over and over at the Detective, who kept blankly staring deeply into me across from the table we were sitting at. Hands tightly folded, and sitting straight up, not moving at all since he's sat down in that very chair.

He smirked at me and leaned forward, clearing his throat.
"Look I know that you're thinking that I might be a bit old but I'm 34, and although it doesn't really mean anything to you but I know strange things when I see them and I've been in this town long enough to know that. Your eyes tells me you're not being honest......but apparently I can't pester you with questions any further since you're 17 and we can't do anything without your parents or a lawyer so....."

He shrugged and sat back, briefly shaking his head as he pushed his chair back, looking at the door as the man that was with Mr. Price earlier when they came, appeared in the room. They began whispering, making me scoff in boredom and annoyance.

I can't believe Leah got the police involved and sent them false information about Me being the last person to see Ava alive. The police thinks I may know where she's hiding at or believe I've done something to her to cause her to go missing. Which in case I sort of did, but I didn't murder her. Leah did. But of course I can't tell them that because of what she sent them anonymously by someone I don't even know. But I will find out who she had do her dirty work, and I'll kill them for even crossing me without even getting to know who I am.

"Alright ma'am. You can go now? Call your parents and tell them to come and get you." The Detective said to me, making me applaud inside my head as I got up from my own chair and followed the two out of the small room we were in and into the main lobby.

Of course I wasn't gonna call my parents, well yeah. I can still call them that right? Although they don't really know anything about my true identity or anything like that. They only know the Mia I forced myself to be. But sorry, there's no more of pretending now. Especially with them. I can't go back and be with them again, they'll end up getting hurt if they learn the truth, and I'm pretty sure Audrey's gonna eventually let everyone know who I truly am, but to make sure of that I'll figure out a way to share her secret first for everyone to see? But what though?

I sighed deeply, throwing all of my devilish plans into the back of head for now as I sat down in the waiting room and took out my phone. Grace is gonna be pissed once she finds out I was brought to the police station for questioning because of Leah.
Who by the way still doesn't know what the hell Im capable of. So, I'll just show her then. I forewarned Audrey and I'm pretty sure she alarmed her not to come from me. Leah doesn't listen so now Lexi suffers the consequences.

I went to my contacts and swiped to Grace name and hesitated before I shook my head and paused.

"You know what Im just gonna call Blair." I mumbled to myself as I looked for her number and pressed her name.

The phone ringed about four times before it picked up and she answered it.
"Hey." She spoke as I looked around to find the Detective staring at me for a few seconds before disappearing down the hall.
"Hey, um Blair. Could you um come pick me up from the police station. It's quite far from where you live and I don't wanna call Grace, she'll be pissed if she finds out. I'll explain everything in the car, okay?"

There was silence on the other end as I waited for her to say something.

"Sure."

About forty-five minutes have passed and Blair finally arrived in her Porsche. I immediately leave the station and get on without the Detective having a chance to see and tell her to pull off as soon as possible.

"Okay.........now fill me in on the details on how you got questioned by the police." She instantly started off.

I buckled my seatbelt and sat back feeling stressed as I gazed out of the window.
"Leah.......my ex bestfriend well fake, ex best friends sister......look—there's a lot about me you don't know and it's a long story to tell."
"Then tell me as much as you can so I won't get confused as hell on why the police are involved in your life." She immediately responded back as she got on the highway, heading back towards her house I guess.

I didn't want her to think I couldn't handle all of this and that I was just crappy girl that's full of herself.......so I told her everything from the start. From the very day Taylor's parents invited me into their home and discussed with me about pretending to be Audrey's bestfriend and up until now.

"Damn....." Was all that came out of her after a long pause of silence.
"Your life is just—"
"Fucked up? Yeah, I know. But most of it isn't and that's what's keeping me going everyday."

The car got silent as we got closer towards her house. The clouds got even darker as it headed into the night...

"So......this woman, you were talking about.....that did something to have you end up in the police station anyway.......what are you planning on doing? You said that she thinks she's not scared or knows what you're capable of.....and I can't really put my opinions into this since I don't really know you or her. So," She shrugged looking at me as we pulled into a fast food drive-thru.

I was about to answer her but stopped when the person began speaking out of the thing.

Blair had ordered us some food and I could have more than thanked her since I practically tossed my food out in lunch earlier. Why did I do that I again?
"Thank you." I mumbled before grabbing an onion ring out of the bag and eating it.

She nodded her head as she ate her burrito and drove to a nearby store parking lot and parked...
"We can eat and talk here. I'm not ready to go back home if that's okay with you." She looked at me as she turned the light above us on.

"That's cool." I said and we both began to eat silence.

After we finished our food, Blair got out the car and walked to a nearby trash can go throw the bags away.

While she did that I decided to get out too and pull out a cigarette. I was completely stressed from everything today and I wanted to get rid of it. I could get drunk at Blair's house if she allows it, or maybe I could even—
"The hell are you doing?" Blair snapped as she smacked the cigarette out of my hand before I got a chance to light it.

"What?" I asked in confusion as I looked at her in disbelief.

"You're pregnant, remember? You shouldn't smoke." She reminded me making me face palm myself as she shook her head and chuckled.
"Sorry, I forgot." I lightly chuckled and shook my head before looking at the store some distances away.

My face began to rise as I thought of an idea.

"Hey, you wanna go inside Walmart and have a little fun?" I asked her as she opened her car door to get inside.

"Fun? What the hell can you do in Walmart that's 'fun'?" She questioned with one of her eyebrows rose, making me smirk widely.
